According to the Def Soul website, it says that Dru is recording a new album now. Do you guys think this is good news or whatever because they're only going to release 2 singles and that's that. I hope they do more promotions for this new album, maybe release a single that will definitely do good for them. DWO, in MY OPINION was good but could have been better. The singles they should have released and they didn't.  A part of me says the new album will do good and the other part is Def soul will screw them over again and only release 2 singles which will give them another gold album.  |

Def Soul has been saying that for the longest and I don't think that they reallystarted yet. But I think they are going to release some of the "unreleased" songs and then record a few more.
I hope Def Soul doesn't mess them up again. They definitely deserve more than just a gold album.

As far as I know, none was released until you call teh I Should be Remix feat Slim a remix. You can thank Def Soul for that one again. |

Nope they have not started recording yet and it will not be out this month like Def Soul said. They will come out next year. But Sisqo may be coming out with his 1st! that is cool but i hope the group comes out 1st! oh well we shall see!  |

I don't think that's a very good idea for Sisqo to come out with something FIRST. It might backfire for the group unless he puts out something HOT!!!!(That the public takes to!)

I agree. They should do the group album first then the solo albums. But if they really want to hit platinum status or even diamond...(sadly I doubt they'll sell 10 million albums in the US for their new album.) They need to do something so that people don't bootleg their album as much. -Have a special dvd or have hidden tracks on the album or just release singles that you know will do very well in the pop market. -Try to use that special encrpytion technology on their cd so it'll be harder to rip off the CD. -Dru should either do collabos with the hottest singers now. It'll raise album sales and not to mention they can win awards. Even if Sisqo does put out a hot song, most people don't like him so they won't support him. They'll just see him as a 2-hit wonder (thong song and his new hot single). |

I agree 100% that they should come out with one 1st. That is true about Sisqo The public will not support him like they should. If it is not a hit it will hurt the group big time. I agree with everything you all are saying. I hope it works out for them. we will see. |

I don't understand why the public don't support Sisqo.   4 million people bout his first album Unleash the Dragon, so he had a lot of support then. Why don’t many of the public support him anymore? |

Most people bought Unleash the Dragon because they remembered him from Wild Wild West. They were expecting another Thong song and it didn't happen so the public stopped liking him so Return of Dragon only sold 2 million.
There are stupid people who believe the different rumors around him. That's another reason why he doesn't have the fans/support anymore.

That is very true!A lot of people over sea may have respect for Sisqo but here in the U.S;they hate to much.That i don't understand but as long as we stamd by Dru Hill then they'll be fine.At the end,i just hope this all works out cuz we don't want Dru Hill to not get the Apprision they need.To me,the public is stupid,they don't know good music when they hear it.But like Scola4Life said,we shall see!  |

The Dru fan base will support them but we can only do so much which will equal double platinum status. They have to reach out to the pop market crowd. That's where the awards, fans who liked them but drifted away, TV apperances and new fans will help them get.
1) respect that they lost or haven't received as yet.
2) Album sales passed 2 million.

I agree! I don't even think they are platinum yet and it's been over a year since DWO was released! I think they should appeal to the pop audience, because WE all know they can sing anything!!!!

well they didn't do a lot of appearances to promote their DWO so this time they gotta get out on 106& park and TRL and other places. Mya went on both shows to do her lap dance and promote her gig... 112 was there and everyone &.. Ms Keys so Dru Hill needs to get out and promote.. last time they toured the entire time with LL so they didn't do lots of appearances to promote they music. so oh well.. i hope it will be different this time..
