The cake!
For her wedding to record producer Kendu Isaacs, singer Mary J. Blige "didn't want a lot of hoopla," a friend tells PEOPLE. And Blige, 32, got what she wanted, when, on Dec. 7, she wed Isaacs, 36, at her Bergen County, N.J., home with just 50 well-wishers -- none of them celebrities. A guest played "Here Comes the Bride" on the piano, and Blige's mom, Cora, and sister LaTonya whipped up the unfussy menu: oxtail, barbecued chicken, crab, red rice and salad, topped off with a cake from a favorite Yonkers, N.Y., bakery. "It was nice and peaceful," one guest tells the magazine.

I'm sooooo happy for her!
She made a beautiful bride!!! ;D But she really threw the media off course since she announced on Ellen Degeneres' show a few weeks ago that she was gettin' married the day after Thanksgivin'. But I can undastand why she didn't want the media all up in her business. Judgin' from the pix, it looks as if the ceremony was very intimate. Congratulations, girl! ;D
