"Mrs. Lincoln, you have a delivery", said Charla, "Would you like for me to send him in?"

"Yes Charla send him in." said Temple. The door opens and in walks a man with an unusally large bouquet of flowers. "Oh those are so beautiful, you can sit them down right here", Temple says as she clears a spot on the desk. Her friends said they would be sending here some flowers so she had been waiting for the arrival all day.

"What are you doing here?" said Temple as she sees her husband sit the bouquet on her desk. "I thought I told you that I didn't want to see you."

"Can't I come see my how my wife is doing." said Lawernce. "I mean I haven't seen you in a couple of weeks and I wanted to see how you were"

"Oh really, you didn't seem to care when you were with that girl, by the way how is Tracy, or is it Morgan, or maybe it's Jayme."

"Come on Temp, why you gotta be this way?" said Lawernce.

"Ms. Lincoln, and I have to be this way because your the way you are." said Temple.

The two had been seperated ever since his mistress showed up at their three year annivesary party, asking why he hadn't come over the night before.

"Look Temple, I already told you that she meant nothing to me. So why don't you quit with this crazy divorce idea of yours and let's try to work this thing out."

"I don't think so, besides I don't touch anything that even remotely comes close to another woman's privates, why do you think we stopped having sex?" said Temple.

From the look on his face Temple could tell she hit a button. "Look, why don't you just leave while you still have the ability to walk out of here on your on free will?"

"I just want to talk,...."said Lawerence, but before he could finish his sentence, Temple had already picked up the phone to call security.

"Okay, Okay, I'm leaving. I just wanted to see you."

"Well now you see me," said Temple as she pushes him out the door and slamming it in his face, "Now you don't."

"Hello," says Temple answering her phone as she sits down with a bowl of ice cream.

"Hey girl what's up?!"

"Niecy!"

"Yeah and Lani and 'Maya." said Niecy.

"What are y'all up to?"

"Getting you out of the house," said 'Maya, "You've been shacked up in that house so long, we were about to start putting up fliers asking 'Have you seen me'.

"I just haven't been in the mood to get out lately." said Temple laughing.

"We don't care, your going get up, and get dressed in an outfit that'll make the Pope blush and your coming out with us." said Lani.

"Look y'all ...."

"Look my big beautiful round butt, your coming. And I don't care if we got to drag you into the club kicking and screaming your coming!!!"said Niecy

"I'm so glad your brother owns this club, cause I was definetly not trying pay to get into this bad boy." said 'Maya.
"Yeah, and it aint half bad to be sitting up in V.I.P either." said Niecy.

"Yeah, Twin got at sistas back." said Lani.

"Man I feel like dancing," said Niecy rocking back and forth in her seat, "But man there aint nothing but these busted I-wanna-be-like-Diddy looking n****s up in here."

"Speaking of which, Temp, here comes one now."

As she turns around Temple sees this oh wee ugly dude coming towards her smiling, and sucking on his platinum grill. To Temple he looks like a broke down 2003 version of Martin's Jerome.

"Hey lil mama, how you doing?" said this Freddy Kreuger reject.

"I'm doing good." said Temple.

"Yeah, I've been watching you ever since you stepped foot in here, you wanna dance?"

"No, not right now."

"Awww, come on ma, just one lil dance, I mean damn, I've been wanting to see that booty clap since you walked in here."

"Aight Swamp thing, it's time to go", said Lani, "She said she didn't want to dance so just go head and step off."

"Look here, I was talking to her, so why don't you shut the hell up."

"Aight I was trying to be nice, but seeing as how your breathe got here before you did you obviously didn't plan on doing the same...."

"Lani, I can handle it." said Temple cutting Lani off before she told this every bit of ugly brotha exactly where he could go.

"Look truthfully, my man just walked in and I didn't want you to get your ass kicked."

"Oh really, which one of them is yo man?"

"The one up front", said Temple pointing to a group of men that just walked in to the room.

"Excuse me" said Temple as she got up from her seat. She really didn't know who the guy was, she just needed a way to get this guy out of her face. Man, I hope this guy is cute, after all I did just pick him cause he was the first one I saw, Temple thought as she walked across the room. As she gets closer to the guy she realizes that he looks familiar. Temple was stopped in her tracks when she realized who the guy was.

The guy was Sisqo. The men behind him were Jazz, Woody, Nokio, and Scola. Altogether known as Dru Hill. Temple knew she was in a spot but she decided that she had try her luck.

"Excuse me, can I talk to you for a minute?" said Temple as she pulls Sisqo away from a woman he was talking to.

"I was kinda talking to that girl over there." says Sisqo.

"I know and I don't mean to be rude but I'm in a real sticky situation. You see that guy back there, the one staring at me?" said Temple pointing at that poster boy for ugly.

"Yeah"

"Well he was kinda bothering me, so I pointed at you and said you were my man. But the thing is I didn't know you were you until I got over here. And I know your probably thinking I'm crazy but I really need you to do me this favor."

"So, you want me to pose as your boyfriend?" says Sisqo.

"Yeah, please, I know it's crazy but I really need you to help me."

"Alright mama, you don't have to beg, I'll do it."

As soon as Sisqo agrees, Mr. Ugly makes his way over to them.

"Look ma, quit all dis ish out and come dance with me."

"That's aight playa, I'm here now. But thanks for lookin after my girl." says Sisqo as he puts his arms around Temples' waist.

"Yo, girl huh?"

"Yeah, his girl"

"You really expect me to believe he's yo man?"

"You aint got to believe it, just respect it" said Sisqo.

"Aight, if she's your girl, kiss her."

"We aint got to prove nothing to you...." says Temple, but before she can finish, Sisqo jumps in.

"Nah, it's aight, I don't mine kissing them luscious lips of yours, that is, if you don't mind."

"I guess I don't."

What began as just a innocent little peck, turned into a passionate kiss.

"Damn" said both as they pulled back. Both in shock of what just happened.

"Aight, Aight, I get the point." said Mr. ugly as he backs away from the two.

"Damn ma, didn't think you had it like that." said Sisqo.

"I wasn't expecting that either." said Temple.

When she looked back at her table, all of her friends mouths had dropped. She had forgotten that they were even there.

"Well thank you for your help, I really 'preciated it."

"No problem, look, why don't you hang with me and the boys?"

"I would love to but, I really got to go, um I have to get up early tomorrow."

"Okay, well here, I'mma give you my number and maybe we can talk." says Sisqo as he writes his number down on on a napkin and hands it to her.

"Ok, thanks, I'll try to call you..."

"Don't just try, do it."

"Like I said, I'll try." says Temple as she walks away and heads back to her friends.

"You lucky heffa," said Niecy, "I can't believe it she didn't even want to come out tonight and she pulls Sisqo. I come out just about every night and I don't get nothing but broke down hustlas."

"Well some people got it some don't, you don't" says Temple smiling.

"Shut up!" said Niecy laughing.
