Earlier this year in May, we got the sequel to 99's highly acclaimed The Matrix--The Matrix Reloaded. In the same time period, Enter the Matrix the video-game was released (sold a few million copies already, despite its major flaws). Then, proceeding that, the Animatrix was released featuring nine amazing japanese anime cartoons which explained the origins of the Matrix and set the grounds for the sequel. Well, on Tuesday Reloaded will be released on DVD and I can't f*cking wait! ;D To finish the year off nicely, on November 2, the final film in the trilogy will be released--The Matrix Revolutions!! Omgomgomgomg, I can't wait!

I saw reloaded and I have the movie on cd already but... I didn't like reloaded that much. I thought the best part was when the 2 trucks crashed and it had that ripple effect, otherwise... bleh. The Animatrix was good. I think it was movie 7, Rise of the Osirius that was the coolest one. If you haven't seen the Animatrix, buy the DVD!! Most gaming sites and magazines said that the game was awful.(It took them 2 years to do that!?) But it filled in the gaps from Reloaded. Revolutions better not let me down or I'm gonna be mad!

I have Enter the Matrix and its not really that bad. It's actually quite fun, but as I stated above, there are some flaws.
The Animatrix is so f*cking amazing. The movie you're talking about is 'Final Flight of the Osiris' (It's number one actually, unless of course you're referring to number 7 - Beyond). The Osiris one was the last film to come out of Squaresoft Pictures before they closed up shop (but I guess they got they things together because FF7: Advent Children is coming out in Japan...?). My favorites are the Final Flight of the Osiris, both of the Second Renaissances, and a Detective Story.
A lot of people mistook Reloaded to be crap with a terrible plot. They're just anaware that Reloaded and Revolutions share the same plot. It's one big story that was just split into two films due to time constraints. They never really stressed that idea at all. I think when people can watch these on DVD back-to-back, they'll see that it isn't so bad.
