JANET JACKSON WILL PLAY LENA HORNE

POP singer Janet Jackson will play Lena Horne in an ABC TV biography about the sultry crooner.

The movie will be co-produced by Oscar-winning "Chicago" masterminds Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

Jackson will also sing all the songs Horne made famous.

"Lena Horne" is expected to air sometime next year and will be based on Horne's autobiograpy, "Lena," co-written by Time magazine's Richard Schickel.

Ummmm...all I'm gonna say on this is that I hope Janet has taken some actin' lessons since her debut in "Poetic Justice".

I don't think she was that bad. I mean she did no worse the Whitney. I think that she has prolly evolved, I mean she can't helped but become a good actress look at all the drama in her family. She has defintely had the practice.
