info from TSC & TSSZ
From a GamerFeed blog feature, some interesting notes on the re-sale of SNK's NeoGeo Pocket Color under a new name:
"Advertised as "Pocket Color Arcade" and distributed by eplayplay.com, for $79.99 you can purchase a NeoGeo Pocket with the following six games: Pac-Man, King of Fighters R2, Metal Slug First Mission, Neo Turf Masters, Samurai Showdown 2, and Fatal Fury. Also included are instructions for the system and the necessary batteries. Unfortunately, none of the games come with manuals, but they do come with plastic cases. But wait! Not only can you pick up these fantastic packages but also special four packs as well. For $39.99 I also purchased a collection that includes Sonic the Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure, The Last Blade, Puzzle Bobble Mini, and the arguably the greatest fighter ever released for a portable system, Capcom Vs. SNK.
The back of the package lists additional games and they may be included in other collections. When I asked the employee where they came from he responded that they mysteriously appeared in a shipment without warning and he was unsure if they'd receive more. What's even more bizarre is when I tried to go to eplayplay.com the site won't load! You may have to do some extra detective work to track A NeoGeo down, but believe me the effort will be worth it.
So for about $120 you get a great color portable system and ten of its best games. While at first I thought it was a tad pricey, considering for $100 you can purchase a Game Boy SP without a game, the N-Gage is retailing for $299 and the PlayStation PSP's price will competitively match Nintendo's this is a phenomenal deal. The NeoGeo Pocket is a marvelous system. It's very lightweight, possibly the lightest of all the portables and the screen has a very good resolution. It has a built-in calendar, alarm clock (which can also tell you different times around the world), and it'll even give you a horoscope."

I remembered when Neo Geo came out with a hand held in black and white then in color. I was interested in it but then I just forgot about it. I think most people would buy it for Capcom vs SNK and for the little kids who buy it for the calendar and horoscope. That also reminds me of thos pocket diaries that came out. Sega released one and I wanted it. A friend of mine still has it. i dunno if it works or not.
