Whitney Houston Confronts Police

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Whitney Houston (news) angrily confronted officers as her husband, Bobby Brown (news), was arrested outside a seafood restaurant, police said.

Brown has been in jail since his Friday night arrest for violating his probation from an earlier drunk driving conviction. The R&B singer is scheduled for his first court appearance Wednesday.

"She was outwardly frustrated. She was upset. She was yelling and screaming and pointing fingers at one of our officers," Sgt. Chris Lagerbloom said of Houston. "We deal with emotions like that from family members all the time. To say that she was calm about it would be a misstatement."

But he said officers didn't consider charging the 40-year-old singer with disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile, Brown "was as calm and cordial and professional as you could be," Lagerbloom said.

Brown, 33, was arrested because be apparently didn't show up for court-ordered community service, drug treatment or a random drug test.

He was arrested after being spotted at a suburban Atlanta restaurant with Houston. Another patron at the restaurant saw Brown and called police.

I heard on the radio 2day that how they found him was that someone else who was at that same restaurant spotted him, they called police and when they arrived they asked the manager to get him for them cuz he had a visitor at the desk. So the moment he walked up to the desk they escortted him outside and cuffed him. I was like now see, ppl jus can't mind they own business. But if that was me, I think I woulda called them too ;D And as for Whitney, she cannot get mad cuz she married a loser

I did not know that Bobby was only 33! But anyway, he should've obeyed the law and he would not have got busted.
