New Tupac Shakur Material to be ReleasedLots of Tupac Shakur-related material is set for release in the next few months - seven years after the rapper's death.
Death Row Presents 2PAC Nu-Miss Klazzics, in which 10 of Shakur's previous recordings are remixed by Tha Row Hitters, will be released by rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight's label on October 7.
The remixes have the blessing of Shakur's mother Afeni Shakur, who has overseen releases of his music since he was shot to death in Las Vegas in 1996.
One of her lawyers says the deck spinners were "respectful and mindful" in assembling the remixes.
Also due in October is the soundtrack for "Tupac: Resurrection," a documentary film which will hit screens on November 14. The album will include two or three previously unreleased tracks and there will also be a companion book, due to be published in mid-October.
A full album of unreleased Shakur material is also slated for a December 2004 release.
"Rocky" star Sylvester Stallone is currently creating a movie called "Thug'z Life," about the deaths of Shakur and his rap rival Christopher 'Notorious B.I.G.' Wallace. fox23news.comI'm sorry, but like I said before, as much as I love this man's work...is he ever gonna run outta material?! This man makes more money dead than alive for cryin' out loud (although I may buy the book that goes along with his documentary that's comin' to theatres soon. I love readin' about him, but still...).
