Upn Changes Name of Eve's New Show
LOS ANGELES - It's a television show that stars singer Eve. It's about her life. So, what would you call the show?
For the executives at UPN the answer to that question was "The Opposite Sex" — until now, anyway. The network says it will change the title of the show to "Eve."
UPN says the name change is being made to help promote the series.
Eve stars as a woman who tries to navigate her way through the world of 21st-century love, sex, romance and a career.
And can you guess what the character's name is? Nope. It's Shelly — but maybe that will change soon, too.
Okay, this makes a lot of sense to change the name of the show to Eve when Eve's character is named Shelly.
But anyway, I'll prolly check out the show the first few times, but UPN isn't one of my favorite stations. In the beginning when a new show comes out on this station, I'll watch it but then I quickly lose interest. But ah well, do yo' thang anyway, Eve! Who knows, maybe I'll like this one.
