QUEEN’S HAILING “TAXI” Latifah signs on to star in action comedy
It might be a taxing job for some, but Queen Latifah is taking this acting thing in stride.
After being nominated for her supporting role in “Chicago” and exploding at the box office with the hit comedy “Bringing Down the House,” Queen Latifah has now inked a deal to star in English-adapted French comedy “Taxi.”
Latifah will play a cab driver who teams with a young cop to solve bank robberies.
Latifah begins filming the action comedy in mid-September.
No wonder she's being honored as "Entertainer of the Year" at the Essence Awards!
This movie sounds very interesting. I know she's gonna pull this one off as well as the other roles she has done.
