This is my fan fiction, i wrote it last year and lost it, but know ive found it so ive typed it up and edited it to include scola, hope yall enjoy: -
The Night Guns Were DRU - by Ian Jenkins
It was a dark misty evening in the city of Baltimore, Maryland. A gang of about 6 young men, 5 of them black and one white, were in a liquor store causing the usual aggro at this time on a Friday night. As one of the shop assistants raised a silent alarm 5 strong men harmonized there way into the store and one of them, Jazz the biggest of them all, smashed every bottle and window in the store from his amazing high pitch. This took the men by surprise and they all turned to the 5 strong men and said “n****s we D-12!”.
Then the shortest flipped over towards the fat thug and gave a “oooh weee!”
Then rips the gun out of this bizarre mans hand and blows off ‘D-12’s’ arms! Then the, what seemed super heroes took 5 steps out and simply disappeared with the short one hollering “2 fingaz like a playa…” and with that they were gone.
These 5 prodigies were in fact DRU HILL the most feared super heroes America has ever seen. They consist of Nokio, the coolest of the 5, Sisqo the shortest and most extrovert of the group, Jazz the pimp daddy of the group, Woody the good saint like figure and Scola the newest addition, yet the strongest.
”We blasted they a**!” blasts Nokio
”Yeah god was with us all the way” claimed Woody
”We were the s**t! Jazz n****a I loved the way you smashed up that joint that was tight!” raves Sisqo
”Why Thankyou” Jazz replies.
They all go to bed but just a few hours into the night they are awakened by the Dragon Light. This is a light that shines in the shape of a dragon and is projected whenever someone is in danger. They all spin to get changed and make their way to their Dodge Dragon. “What we got Nokes?” asks the group
”It says some dude is trying to sing and dance at BET and that we gotta go and save the crowds a** as this dude aint as hot as he thinks and the crowd wants us!
”Aiight lets do this” Woody smoothly says.
They arrive at the BET studios in lightning speed only to find some guy singing about this girl who reminds him of sumthin. This is where they know, Enter the Dru. They went in through the back. As the singer refuses to leave the stage as he wants to sing more of his track, Dru pulls the lights and the stage is surrounded in darkness. The crowd gently screaming comes to a steadied silence. As this occurs 5 shadows appear on the stage and start singin “Remember us from….”, this sends the crowd into a frenzy and when the song is complete the crowd are left screaming for more. Dru always aiming not to disappoint pull out more amazing performances, following up with 5 Steps and Beauty the crowd is now in a state of bewilderment and excitement and with the final verse of beauty sang, Dru are out just like that. Their work here had been done.
’Dru Hill Does It Again!’ reads the headline on the next mornings paper. This pleased the Dru immensely and give them the motivation to do more for there fans and to record their new record, as the super heroes have already released two excellent albums, Dru Hill and Enter The Dru. They decided to call the new record Dru World Order. Nokio came up with this “You know cos we save the world and s**t, this is appropriate don’t y’all think”
The boys liked the name and hit the dragon studios in between saving lives to record the new joint. The album turns out to be a worldwide smash and continues to put Baltimore on the map as the city of Dru Hill – superheroes/artists. However this is not the end the Dru World Order has just begun…(Won’t let you go, won’t let you go, won’t let you go…!)
