Wake Judge Orders Defendant Be Restrained During Trial RALEIGH, N.C. -- A man on trial for the attempted murder of his previous attorney was brought into a Wake County courtroom masked and restrained Wednesday.
Willie Forrest III is accused of punching his lawyer, who suffered a fractured skull, in a previous trial.
Forrest was restrained in a wheelchair and had to wear netting over his head because he spit at a detention guard Tuesday.
The judge ruled Forrest will have to remain in the restraints throughout his trial.
Forrest said he does not deserve it. WRAL.comNow see when you have to go through this type of extreme, juss throw the defendant in jail and throw away the key. I really don't see the need for throwin' away taxpayers' money on foolishness like this. It's obvious that this man is guilty. ::SIGH::

That looks inhumane. They didn't have to go to that extreme.
