Child Assaulted At Target Store, Suspect Caught On Tape

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- Authorities in West Virginia hope a videotape from a store camera will lead them to a man suspected of molesting a child.

Police in South Charleston have released the tape of the man they suspect sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at a Target store Saturday night.

The girl was at the store with her mother, but they split up to do some individual shopping. According to police, the suspect claimed to be a security guard and accused the girl of stealing. Then he pulled a knife.

Police say the man wore a baseball cap with the words "Just Golf."

The surveillance tape shows a man in a hat peering over a store shelf, then walking out of camera range.

Hurry up and find this filthy basstid and throw the book at him!!! I pretty much fault the mother too because you SHOULD NOT let your children wander around in public places by themselves in this day and time. Shoo', my brother is almost 13 and when I take him with me somewhere, he stays in my sight at ALL TIMES! I'm not takin' any chances and this newstory has proven the reason why!

I fell ya, they really need to find this jerk before he actually ends up assulting more kids, and the next time they might not be as lucky to survive. I think that its sad, because this guy prolly already has a record for previous assults. U know the thing that mkaes me mad the most is that You can 25 to life for selling crack, and other drugs, but YOu only get 5 to 10 for molesting and raping. They put you in jail and throw away the key quicker for those who sell drugs than for those who murder and molest. What's wrong wit that picture?
