Brian McKnight And Nelly Hook Up In Sin City
Brian McKnight and Nelly were in Las Vegas on Monday (June 30) to shoot a video for their collaboration "All Night Long," according to MTV. The video was directed by Frank Sacremento and the song is the second single from McKnight's latest release U Turn.
McKnight described the video, saying, "Basically it's just us chillin' in Vegas having a good time. Lots of ladies. I'll do some motorcycle tricks for you guys. It's going to be hot."
"All Night Long" is not the first song that McKnight and Nelly recorded together. McKnight recorded "Groovin’ Tonight" with Nelly and the St. Lunatics in 2001. The song was included on McKnight's 2001 release Superhero and on the St. Lunatics's 2001 release Free City.
When LAUNCH spoke to McKnight, he explained that it's important to him to include a hip-hop element on his releases. "You know, I've been trying to make that dent on that side for awhile,” McKnight says. “Having 'I'll Take Her' and 'You Should Be Mine' with Puff and Ma$e and this is just another sort of chapter. Hopefully, I can get a little more accepted on that side, 'cause you know hip-hop rules the world now so to be able to have something on that side as well makes a lot of sense."
::Slowly raising hand:: Didn't Brian have a video similar to this for "Hold Me (Remix)" featuring Kobe Bryant a few years ago where everybody, includin' the "lots of ladies", are chillin' with Brian and he shows off his skills on his motorcycle throughout the video? I'ono I could be wrong about that. But anyway, I really don't care too much for this song with Nelly. I'd rather "Good Enough" be the 2nd single and video from "U-Turn".
