I just need to add some textures on her and adjust some things here and there. I'm only going to use her for facial animations for my demo reel so she won't be needing any legs. lol

That does look cool! How long did that take for you to do just that?

It was a day to do the head. 2 hours to get the arms and body. The hair was another 2 hours and 20 minutes to the shirt. lol. 3d companies like people who do fast work so that should help for me when I'm ready to go to a company.

At first I wasn't going to give her legs but I did and she has some really cool boots too. You can't really enjoy them in the pic though. Then there's her good friend who I just decided to name Mathis. He's not done as yet but his 2d pic looks a lot cooler. Yayy! Its my 1000 post. Lol.

They look sooo good! I can probably do them in Adobe Illustrator 10, which I was taking a computer art class at college last semester. But turning them to the 3-d version...it'd take forever for me...eheheh...

There's a lot of tutorials online to model a 3d head, hand, body, clothes etc. Just follow the steps and you'll have a pretty decent character. I could do them in Illustrator but I'm too lazy to install the program. Even though, I prefer the 2d pictures of Mathis.

Well maybe I might do a decent job on 3-d, but if I screw up on it, then I'm sticking to Illustrator, 'cause I do a much better job there...even though some tools can be a pain. ^^
That is really good btw. You should definitely work for companies that like fast workers. ^^

3d isn't that hard when you read enough of the tutorials and keep on trying to model things. With trial and error you can end up with a pretty good looking head. That's how I made the girl and Mathis.

I started doing her, him, it, whatever on the side. So far so good. This one has some hair. *Finally! Some decent stuff to put on my portfolio!*
