Durham Dog Barks Up Wrong Tire, Finds Himself Stuck
Firefighters Able To Free Dog By Melting Metal Rim
DURHAM, N.C. -- You may have heard of a dog barking up the wrong tree, but how about up the wrong tire?
A Durham dog named B.J. somehow managed to get stuck in a tire.
Janet Tucker, B.J.'s owner, called animal control, who told her nothing could be done. Officials said that B.J. may have to be put to sleep, but luckily, the dog's life was spared.
Firefighters used a blowtorch to melt away the metal rim, and B.J. was set free. He is reportedly doing just fine.

Maybe his owner should change his name from B.J. to Lucky.
