   Whitney Houston Vacationing In Israel (May 28, 2003)Whitney Houston, her husband, Bobby Brown, their daughter, Bobbi Kristina, and several other relatives are currently in Israel. Houston is in Dimona, Israel, resting and looking for inspiration for her upcoming Christmas album, according to published reports.
On Tuesday (May 27), Houston visited with Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who is preparing for an upcoming summit with President Bush and Palestinian leaders. According to Reuters, Houston told Sharon, "It's home. It's a friendship I've never had with any other country."
Houston arrived in Israel on Sunday (May 25), and is spending her time in Dimona with the Black Hebrews, a group of African Americans who believe they are descendants of a lost tribe of Israelites.
Houston's spokesperson told the New York Post, "She is loving it. She is a spiritual woman and wanted to come here and touch the land and be around the saints of Dimona."
Members of the Black Hebrews refer to each other as saints.I'm not tryna knock anybody's beliefs, but er uh...why can't I take Whit and Bobby seriously in those outfits!!!  Oh he!!...Bobby doesn't even seem to be taking himself seriously in his getup judging from the first two pics.  |
