Chaka Khan and Queen Latifah were the ONLY ones who actually sounded decent. And for those who may have watched, did you see how Stevie Wonder started cracking up when he performed his duet with Queen Latifah at the end?!!  He actually forgot the words--lololololol! And lawd, my girl, Mary, needs to stop all that yodeling and juss sing the dag-blasted song! I still love her though, but juss take it easy on those notes, Mary!  I don't even have ANY comments for the other divas up there last night because they were horrendous!!! And Lisa Marie betta' thank her lucky stars that Pat Benetar saved her during her last number because ol' girl was juss...man, I don't even have words to explain how terrible she sounded. I'm sure The King must've been rolling over in his grave non-stop!  |

I wasn't impressed with Mary, because she sounded like she was singing from her throat, or her throat was sore, like she was hoarse. I was hoping with every song she sang, it would get better, but it didn't.
Get your voice back Mary!!!!!
Beyonce was good to me.
Whitney was alright until she tried to hit those high notes! UGGHHH! Poor Whitney.
Queen Latifah looked good! They hooked her up!
Ashanti! NO COMMENT
Jewel, What was her purpose, she was singing too low!

Ever since I saw that "Rock Wit U" video, it looks like she lost some pounds....especially her thighs My take on Divas was that it didn't live up to previous ones, but I gotta give MAJOR ups to Beyonce on her performance for "Dangerously In Love". You see, she did that song better by herself than the version with DC. What was the point of them? Just to big her up for her solo career...that's all. I thought that little tribute (or should I say LONG ASS TRIBUTE) to Stevie was a cute idea...except they executed it BAD. I bet you Stevie don't even know half the girls singing those songs. And all I got to say about Bobby and Whitney...*sigh*...well dern...they just took it to the crazy house didn't they. |
