DR. DRE’S MOM ARRESTED: She is accused of shooting at a friend (May. 23, 2003)
*Dr. Dre’s mother, Verna Griffin, 54, was arrested and booked on gun assault this week after she allegedly fired a gun at a male friend.
The LA Times reports that Griffin fired shots on Monday between 7 and 8 p.m. at a home in suburban Agoural Hills, Calif. that is owned by Dr. Dre.
Griffin was not at home when the police arrived but was discovered at a gas station nearby. She had a hangun in the car.
Griffin was arrested on Tuesday and released three hours later on $50,000 bail. Now, that's gangsta.
I didn't know her son's music would rub off on her like that! Sheesh!!!
