Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown To Perform Together On 'VH1 Divas Duets' (5/16/03)

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown will perform "My Love" from Houston's latest release, Just Whitney, on VH1 Divas Duets. It will air live from the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on May 22.

VH1 Divas Duet will also feature performances by Beyonce Knowles, Ashanti, Lisa Marie Presley, Celine Dion, Jewel, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan.

Actress and rapper Queen Latifah will host the show.

VH1's Divas series raises funds for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music programs in America's public schools.

...Bobby wouldn't have a career! But in all seriousness, "My Love" is a cute duet. Actually, I really like Whit's last CD. I juss think she kinda ruined her sales with that crazy interview that she and Bobby had with Diane Sawyer back before it's release (not like THIS is new news). Ah well...

LOL! But they may do well if they perform it the same way that they do on her CD. What am I sayin'?! That won't be happenin'...Bobby always has and always will sound terrible singing live! It's a good thing that he has a supportive wifey to continue to put him out there as the King of R&B (Ripple and Boon's Farm).

lol! Bobby will probably once again try to outshine Whitney, like he did when he was with NE. That's why they don't want him back. But It'll be interesting because I never heard the song before.
