Ashanti Talks Murder Inc. (5/7/03)Murder Inc. Records, home of Ashanti, Ja Rule, Caddillac Tah, and others, has been the subject of an ogoing federal investigation.
One executive was arrested last week for gun possession charges after a weapon was found in the company's corporate offices during a raid in January. In addition, recent reports have formally linked reputed drug kingpin Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff to the company.
The label has since moved out of its previous location in the Island Def Jam building in New York City.
Some suggest that the company may have invited scrutiny by choosing the moniker, Murder Inc. Records. The label's first lady Ashanti offers a different take. "I will definitely say that the way the we express Murder, Inc. is something totally different," Ashanti said. "When we talk about 'murder'--we talk about we're murdering the industry with our records. And everything is just so successful and so on top right now. You know what I mean? Like, 'We're killing 'em with Ja, and my records, and Charli, and Caddy, and we have like a whole like entourage of people.' And we plan on just like taking over with our records and not necessarily anything to do with violence or murdering people." I think she would have been better off with, "No comment".

We all have to remember that she's not too smart so don't u feel sorry for the thing? And to be honest, I don't think she even knows what state she lives in. Knowing her, she'll say she lives in a province. I wonder how much she was paid to say this crap... This is what I think of Murder Inc. *excluding Charli Bmore and Caddlillac tah cuz they haven't annoyed me as yet...* Murder Inc

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! that was gross, but true!
And as far as Charli, I'm sorry but do any of you really think she got skillz as a rapper? I mean I can't get down with the sound of her voice rappin, I'd rather listen to Trina's squeaky voice.

I liked Charli from waaaay back when she was on the Woo soundtrack with Money. The song was taken from the ol skool song back in the days but still, she has some good lines but since stupid *should be eaten alive by Suge Knight* Irv Gotti writes the lines for everyone at his crappy record label and quick frankly it shows. He has no writing skills what so ever and like I said b4, should be eaten alive by Suge Knight.

LOL at Gotti being eaten alive by Suge Knight. But yeah, I remember Charli's song from "Woo"; that song was aight. I also liked her on Cam'ron's first CD when they did a remake of Smokey Robinson's "Being With You". That song was too cute! But then it was taking so long for her CD to be released when she was under Undeas' label that I soon forgot all about her.

Her album came out underground. My brother has a copy of that album and I think it came out overseas. It had some really good songs on it. As for her old record label with Lance "Un" Rivera or whatever the guy is, I think he filed for bankrupcy or something or someone threatened his life. I think he said that Jay Z shot him or something like that...
Technically, her new album with Murder Dunces INC was suppose to come out on March 30th of this year. That didn't happen. Stupid Irv gotti! Speaking about this moron, Download Hail Mary, (Ja Rule Diss) 50, Eminem and Busta are insulting ja fool and irv gotti. Busta insults ja fool so nicely! ;D

LOL--yeah, I heard their diss to Murder, Inc. on Russ Parr's Morning Show a few weeks ago when I was on my way to work. I was rolling when I listened to Busta's entire verse!

I guess him and gotti must be: 1) too high on the E to know that no one likes them. 2) too stupid to know that no one likes them 3) 1 & 2 at the same time
Someone needs to shut them up, slap them off their pedastol, yank off as***ty's wig and see her bald head *and maybe see the future with her shiny bald head* or the can do the next thing....Ya'll know what that is.
