If you noticed that Jennifer Lopez's video for "I'm Glad" looked an awful lot like the '80s movie Flashdance, you're not alone. The lawyers at Paramount Pictures, the studio behind the Jennifer Beals film, thought so too--so much so that Paramount sent Sony a legal letter, alleging copyright infringement. The two companies are settling out of court.Okay, my whole thing is this...if J-Lo and her camp knew that they "allegedly" didn't ask for permission to make her video in the likeness of "Flashdance" (since they're settling out of court...hmmmm), what made them think that Paramount wouldn't catch on to what they had done once they saw her video?

I think she was suffering from momentary diva-itis!! ;D You know she kinda forgot that just becasue you are J-lo and once dated P-diddy that she didn't have to ask permission to sample the movie. LOL Maybe she was pressed for time and thought that her lawyers had handled that already?

They are stupid. Why would they not get permission? I also heard that they wanted her to star in a remake of the movie. HUH?
