What are your future plans? What do you hope to achieve in life when you're an adult, career plans, family, etc? For myself, personally, I cannot choose a career that I'd like to hold for my entire life. Pretty much nowadays, in order to have a job doing what you enjoy, you have to sacrifice other things that would otherwise be essential in life (money, for example). Naturally, anyone would want to do something they both enjoy and prosper financially. I'll most likely end up in journalism (which I wouldn't mind), but I would love a career in forensics or paleontology. Both which would leave me with an empty wallet. I know money isn't everything, but I see how my parents struggle, and that is something that I would like to avoid at all costs when I'm an adult. Well, what about you?

I want to go back to school for Business Administration and minor in Music...being that my life is a little further along than some of you...I'm 25...that should have been something I achieved long ago however due to circumstances beyond my control (illness and losing my job) I'm almost 26 and having to start over with life with an amount of personal debt equivalent to a car.
So now my future plans are smiple...find a decent job, then file Chapter 7 bankruptcy, marry that special someone and have a kid, maybe two, then I may go back to school...who knows?

By this time next year, I should have my B.A. degree in Social Work. Since I'm already employed at the Department of Social Services as an Office Assistant in the Children's Services Unit, I figured I might as well get a Social Work degree so that I can become a Social Worker with the elderly in the Adult Services Unit. IMO, elderly people are juss too adorable! ;D And who knows, maybe sometime in the near future, I will find that special someone who may become my hubby. If I have any kids, I plan to have no more than two.

I graduate in a year and a half and after that Imma work, make my paper and take care of myself like I should. Then about 2 years down the line, Imma go back to school, study nursin' (pediatrics) and hopefully be happy with that. I hadn't really thought about marriage and childern but I'm sure once I get where I wanna be mentally and financially then maybe I'll become a wifey and a mommy ;D

DruDiamond...I worked as a MOA in a pediatric clinic for a while and I loved it. Kids are a joy to work with. It's a good thing to get into. I thought about nursing but music is the love of my life. If there wasn't so muc B.S. with the music industry right now I'd be on someone's record label right now...

As for me...I'm currently attending college fulltime, working on an AS Degree in Interactive Multimedia and working as an IT Frontliner (working in a computer lab assisting college students with computer problems) part-time. After I finish up there I plan on transfering to another college to get my BFA in Fashion Design. And of course I want to own and raise up my own business. Have a family, be sucessful, happy, and stay in the Lord.

Well, I start college in August, and I'm gonna major in Biology Pre-med. I've wanted to become a pediatrican since middle school. Kids have always been an interest of mine as well as wanting to help cure people. So what better profession to choose. As for plan's after college, medical school and whatever else i have to do to jump start my career off.

Well I'm gonna finish off 2d/3d animation then move back into web designing and make sites like www.2advanced.com So I got to work on Flash. (Its a big difference from flash 5 to flash MX. There's A LOT more options and features.) Or I can do some graphic/ interface designing and get paid for it.

My future plans are in God's hands... But my short term goals are to get my CDL license, so I can drive a school bus for special needs kids. I am currently a bus aide, so it will be just a step up for me. I didn't want to drive at first (because of the drama) but I realize once I get my license I can use it in other areas. For example, my church runs a bus ministry, and most of the folks driving are up in age, so somebody's gonna have to take over one day! I surely don't want to drive forever, but I am just taking an interest in computers, so I might look into taking classes. I would like to get married (if Scola's not takin' he might be a prime candidate! ) one day and have maybe two children. But, definitely not in the near future.

Well I've always wanted to work with children too and I jus love babies so I figured why not get into that kinda job. I'm sure I would enjoy it once I learn the tricks and trades.
