Sorry I took so very, very, long to finish. It has been on my computer for month's and I finally finished it up! Thanks sisqosprincess for asking me about it so I can finish. Enjoy!
A few hours later, Khori was sitting beside Binka’s bed with his little hand in her’s. The room was silent, with nothing but the beeping sounds of the machines that Binka was hooked up to.
Khori glanced down at Binka and he looked peaceful. She couldn’t stand the sight of all of the tubes coming out of him. She felt dejavu` when she came into his room. She couldn’t believe she had been in three hospital rooms in a matter of two weeks.
She laid back in her chair and thought back to earlier that day when she left Dru Hill and their crew. She smiled when she thought about she and Scola.
When Khori woke up, she noticed Scola sitting on the edge of the bed, with his back to her on the side where he slept.
“Hey! Did you get any rest?” Khori asked Scola.
“Oh…hey! Yeah. I did.”
Khori sat up and crawled over to Scola. She hugged him, from behind, around his neck.
“Thanks for sleeping with me.” Khori said and she kissed him on his cheek.
“No problem.” Scola replied and he smiled.
Scola stood up from the bed. He looked down at Khori who was looking at him from her place on the bed.
“You know what?”
“What?” Khori responded.
“I never got a real kiss from you.”
“Huh?” Khori blushed and looked away.
“You know what I mean. Can I have one before you leave?”
“No.”
“Why? I’ve been a good boy. I kept my hands to myself, even when I had every opportunity to get at you.”
Khori already knew that she wanted to give him a kiss. She sucked her teeth.
“Well….ummm…ok. You did do the behave.”
Scola replied with a smile.
She stood up and faced Scola. She still felt a little akward because of what happened between the both of them before. They stared at each other for a minute and there was a knock at the door. They both looked at the door.
Khori started toward the door when Scola stopped her.
“This may be my last opportunity to get my kiss!”
Scola pulled her close to him and he gently kissed her. Khori responded with a gentle kiss of her own. There was another knock at the door and Scola pulled her even closer, and the kiss got a little deeper.
Khori wondered who was knocking at the door, even though she and Scola was doing some serious kissing.
Finally the person who was knocking opened the door. It was Sisqo.
“Whoa! Hot d@#n! My bad! I didn’t mean to interrupt!” He said.
When Khori recognized it was Sisqo she tried to pull away from Scola but he wouldn’t let go. She couldn’t believe he didn’t care that Sisqo was in the room.
She put her hands on both sides of his face and gently pried her lips from off his.
“Scola, some air please!” Khori joked.
“Oh my bad…I got a little carried away.”
“What’s going on, Sisqo?” Khori asked.
“Well….nothin…. I was just checking to see if you were alright.”
“She’s doin’ just fine!” Scola replied with a smile on his face.
“Scola!” Khori said as she rolled her eyes.
“Yeah…I can see.” Sisqo said as he and Scola’s eyes met.
Sisqo couldn’t believe he was her room, kissing her, after all that had happened between them. He shook his head.
“We’ll talk before I leave, Sisqo! OK?” Khori said.
“Yeah.” Sisqo answered faintly and he closed the door.
“Scola! I can’t believe you!” Khori said as she broke from Scola’s embrace.
“I gotta let him know what’s mine!”
“Somebody must’ve told you a lie, because I’m not anybody’s property.”
“I’m just joking!” Scola laughed.
“It’s not funny!” Khori shook her head. “Now help me finish packing!”

Khori was interrupted from her daydream by a knock on the door. She had to take a double take when the door opened. It was her father, Big Corey.
“Daaaaaadddy!” She said excitedly as she got up from her seat and gave him a hug.
“Hey shorty! I thought you were sleep or something and I didn’t want to wake you.
“Oh no. I’m just here daydreaming.
“Hmmm…ok.” He looked skeptically at his daughter. He then looked down at Binka and said a prayer silently.
“Poor little baby. I believe he’s gonna pull through.”
“I do too, daddy!”
Big Corey bend down and kissed Binka on his forehead and gently squeezed his hand. He moved away and looked back at his daughter.
“What?”
“How was your assignment?” Big Corey asked as he pulled a chair close to his daughter.
“Different and very interesting.”
“Umm….ok. Is there something you wanna tell me?”
“What did you hear?” Khori felt anxiety creep up in her because she had a feeling that her father knew about the Scola incident. She did not want her father, which was a big man, to get a hold of Scola.
“About Scoles or whatever his name is trying to rape you!”
“ His name is Scola, and the problem is resolved daddy.”
“So it is true?” Big Corey replied, with anger in his face and voice.
“Yeah daddy. But it wasn’t his fault.”
“I can’t believe you are trying to take up for that man! If he would’ve gone through with that---“
“Daddy! He didn’t, so just let it die! He apologized and he meant it. He wasn’t in his right mind when the incident happened, so I had to forgive him.”
“Huh? I’m confused.”
“Ok, daddy! Let me tell you the real story! Not what someone else told you! I bet my big mouth sister told you!”
“You know that girl tells it all!”
“I’m going to get her!” Khori said as she shook her head. “Ok, here’s the story…”
It was about 30 minutes after Khori’s father left and it was going on midnight. Russell sr. quietly wheeled his way into his son’s room. He had no idea Khori was still there and it startled him. But Khori was asleep and he wasn’t going to stay long.
Russell had been in and out of his hospital bed rolling around the hospital in his wheel chair. He was kinda sad because he was on his way to a full recovery and his son was in a coma. He spent a few moments with Binka and he decided he wanted to bother her. He got near her and screamed her name.
“Khori!”
Khori woke up, startled. She took a pillow from off her chair and threw it at him.
“If you wasn’t hurt, I’d beat you down!” Khori joked.
“Yeah whateva!… I heard about the incident between you and Scola!”
“Awww…man! Here we go again! I just spent and hour talking to my father---“
“I ain’t even going there! I just wanna know if you’re ok.”
“I’m fine! I just want this incident to rest. I know Scola does too.”
“Aight….I’m not going to press the issue! Besides that, How are you?”
“I’m doing good, despite the circumstance.” Khori said as she looked down at Binka.
“I know. I just feel kinda guilty cause he’s in the coma and I’m not as serious of a condition as he is.”
“Oh, don’t feel guilty….You had no way of knowing that was going to happen!”
“I know…but…” Russell started to get teary eyed.
“Oh man!” Khori said as she got up from her seat and gave him a hug.
Just then Khori saw the door opening. It was Tamara.
“Hey! Get your paws off my man!” She joked.
“Believe me! He ain’t my type!”
Khori went over to Tamara and they gave each other hugs.
Tamara took a look at Khori’s face and said, “You look tired! I think you should go home.”
“Yeah, get some rest!” Russell said.
“But---“
“No but’s! Do you need a ride home?”
“No, I can make it.”
“OK.”
“Yeah! Mosey on, so I can spend some quality time with my wife!” Russell said as he winked at Tamara.
“Ugh! I’m hurrying outta here!” Khori said as she grabbed her coat and purse, she gave Binka a quick kiss, and headed toward the door.
Tamara and Russell laughed.
“I’ll see ya’ll tomorrow! And please don’t do anything in front of the baby!”
“Ummm…hmmm.” Russell said and he winked his eye at Khori.
Khori shook her head and headed out the door. She was ready to hit her comfortable bed in which she hadn’t been in, in almost two weeks.
When she was almost to bed, she felt a little lonely. She was so used to being around Dru and their loud noise. She grabbed their cd, which was in her bag, and her cd walkman. She put the cd in the player, the earphones on her ear and she laid back as the tunes from the cd, helped her drift off to sleep.
The next afternoon, Sisqo, Scola, Nokio, Jazz ,Woody and Kenneth were nearing lil Binka’s hospital room to pay him a visit. Kenneth had called Khori to check on her and see how she was doing. The fellas also had an opportunity to talk to her.
They had all decided to come home early so that they could prepare for their concert, which was happening the next day, to visit their families, and to check on Khori and her nephew.
No one knew that they were coming home and Khori didn’t know that they were going to visit Binka.
Tamara was in the room, when she heard the knock at the door.
The guys were trying to figure out who was going to open the door, when Sisqo knocked twice and slowly opened the door.
Tamara was slightly surprised, but when she saw Sisqo peek through the door, she had to put her hand over her mouth to stop herself from screaming.
“Oh my goodness, Sisqo!” Tamara said through her fingers that were covering her mouth.
“Hey….You gotta be quiet. They don’t know that all of us are up in here!” Sisqo whispered.
“Ok.” Tamara whispered back. She stood up and greeted the guys with hugs. She was so shocked.
“Khori’s not with ya’ll?” Tamara asked.
“No. She doesn’t even know that we’re home!” Woody replied.
The fellas slowly surrounded Binka’s bed and looked at him. They all felt sympathy for him and his mom and dad.
“Dang! I remember when lil’ man tossed that sponge bob toy clear across the parking lot! If I had been a few seconds earlier, it probably would’ve hit me in the eye!” Sisqo joked.
They all laughed.
“Hmmmm….” Scola said.
“What’s on your mind, Scole?” Jazz asked.
“I don’t know if anybody noticed, but when Khori was about to leave to go on the trip with us, lil’ man did not want to let her go. I wonder if that was a sign that it was the last time she was going to see him?”
Tamara thought back to that day, and remembered how Binka was acting kinda strange and she sighed. “I hope not.” She said.
Just then, Russell entered the room. He was kinda startled by all the folks that were in the room.
“It’s Dru Hill, baby.” Tamara said. “And you’re out of that wheelchair!”
“Whaaaaaat….” He said as he looked around. “Oh yeah. I’m outta that thing and I feel 100 times better!” He said to his wife.

He shook everyone’s hand and when he got to Scola he gave him a stern look.
“You alright man? I heard what went down between you and Khori.”
“Oh yeah….everything’s alright. She knows I regret what I did.” Scola responded.
“Yeah I know, man! I wanted to see how you would respond and I believe that you are truly sorry.”
“I am.”
“Okay.” Russell smiled.
After about a few more minutes, the fellas decided to they were going to leave.
“It’s about time for us to go---“ Sisqo said.
“Wait, Wait!” Tamara had an idea. “Would ya’ll sing Binka his favorite song, please?”
They all looked at each other and they agreed. “What is it?” Scola asked.
“Jesus Loves Me.” Russell said.
They looked at each other again. “I haven’t sang that song in years!” Nokio joked. Jazz shook his head.
They agreed and in harmony, they stood around Binka’s bed and sang:
Jesus loves me, this I know, For the Bible tells me so, Little ones to Him belong, They are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me, for the Bible tells me so.
“That’s was soooooooo nice!” Tamara said with tears coming from her eyes.
“It sure was!” Russell said.
“Wow…you guys sounded great!” Kenneth said from his place in the corner of the room.
They all looked around at each, yet again. They smiled at each other.
They said there goodbyes, and Russell and Tamara once again thank them for coming.
“We’ll pray that he’ll be better.” Woody said.
“Thanks!” They both replied.
“That was amazing! I never heard them sound like that! It was almost angelic!” Russell said.
“So, I wasn’t the only one trippin?” Tamara laughed.
The next day, Khori had received a call from her job for to come in early that morning before the Dru Hill concert, that was happening later that evening.
She didn’t know why they wanted her there, but she went anyway. She went straight to Gray’s office.
“Hey Khori! How are ya?” Gray said as he stood up from his desk when Khori came into his office.
“I’m good.”
Khori was surprised that Gray gave her a hug; he usually just gave handshakes.
“We have a meeting in the conference room about the Dru Hill story you are in the process of finishing.”
“Ok.”
“Reggie’s going to be joining us also….by the way, how was your trip?”
“Very interesting, to say the least.” Khori was hoping that they didn’t know about the Scola incident.
Gray eyed her. “Well okay, just asking! I know you’ll put a lot of interesting events in that article.”
“I definitely will do!” There was a knock at the door.
“That’s Reggie! I guess that’s our cue.” Gray said.
It felt like dejavu` once again when Khori was on her way to the conference room. The only thing that was missing was Kenneth meeting with them before they actually went in.
But to her surprise, Kenneth was standing right inside the room when she walked in.
“Kenneth!” Khori said as she ran to him and they both embraced each other.
“Hey girl. You looking good!”
The guys creeped in from the other side of the conference room from another door. Khori’s back was to them, and she didn’t know they were behind her until she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Khori turned around and almost fainted when she saw Woody, who tapped her. She hugged all of them and waited to hug Scola last.
They held on to each other a little too long, when Khori heard Kenneth clear his throat.
“Oh….okay!” Khori said as she and Scola stopped hugging each other and she looked back at her bosses. To her surprise, they were smiling. She turned back to look at Scola and he was smiling also.
“So…what’s this meeting about?” Khori asked her bosses.
“We’re going to look at the photos they took for your article, and you will do the honor of picking them!” Reggie replied.
“That’s cool!” Khori smiled. “I’d rather do this, than write the article.” She laughed to herself.
Khori was so happy about the way the photos came out, she wanted to take them home and put it on her wall liked she used to do. She was also so glad when they told her that they visited her nephew and when she heard that they had sang his favorite song, she cried. She was surprised that ‘miss tell all,’ Tamara didn’t call her and tell her what happened.
Khori’s cell phone rang. It was Tamara.
“Hey Tam—“
“Khori, He’s out of it!” Tamara cut in.
“Huh?”
“Binka’s out of the coma! It’s a miracle!” She screamed.
“Oh my goodness! Are you for real?”
“Yesssssss!” Tamara cried.
About twenty minutes later, Khori was walking through the door of Binka’s room. She was surprised to see him sitting on his father’s lap, and playing with the infamous Sponge Bob toy. He still had his head bandaged.
“How is he?”
“My baby is fine! The doctor said that everything was functioning alright. They still have to do some more tests to see if he has any brain damage. They are about to come to get him in a few.” Tamara responded.
When Binka heard his auntie’s voice, he quickly turned around.
“Aunteeeeeee!” He yelled and smiled.
Khori hurried over to him and scooped him off of his father’s lap.
Binka hugged Khori around her neck and kissed her on the cheek.
“Auntie…sing…Jesus love me…”
Khori sang with Binka.
“Girl…..you don’t know how many times Russell and I have sang that song since he came out of his coma!”
“Do you think he heard when Dru Hill was singing to him?” Khori asked.
They all looked at each other and smiled.
“I think he did!” Russell replied. They looked at a well Binka, as he laid his head on his auntie’s shoulder and smiled.
Dru Hill didn’t know that Kenneth had received a call from Khori and told him that Binka was out of the coma, and that he arranged that they all meet before Dru Hill performed.
Tamara and Russell got special permission from the doctor to allow Binka to leave the hospital, for a little while, since his CAT scan revealed no brain damage. They still had to bring him back to the hospital, so they could do some more tests before the officially release him.
The boys were backstage getting prepared to do their set, when Kenneth announced that they had some guests.
Russell and Tamara came in first and Khori, who was carrying Binka, came in behind them. Sisqo was the first to notice him. They all looked at Binka and was very surprised and happy! They shouted, clapped and they were thanking God.
Binka laughed. Nokio took him and held him, while the guys crowded around and they all started talking to him.
Scola and Khori’s eyes met and she ran to him. They hugged each other and gave each other a kiss.
“He’s been singing “Jesus Loves Me” all day long!” She whispered to him.
“Yo! Lil man has been singing, “Jesus Loves Me!” Scola said to the rest of Dru Hill.
They all stopped what playing with Binka and looked at Scola.
“For real?” Nokio asked.
“Yeah! Every since he came out of the coma.” Russell said.
Everyone just stood there, in silence.
At the end of their set, Dru Hill invited Tamara, Russell and Binka on the stage, and they told their story to the audience.
“If it wasn’t for God’s grace and Dru Hill, my baby may not have came out of his coma.” Tamara said.
“Yeah, you never know why the Lord brings people together.” Russell said.
Scola looked at Khori, who was standing on the side of the stage and smiled. She smiled back.
“We’re going to sing his song as a dedication to him.” Woody said.
As they sang, Binka smiled. Tamara and Khori started to cry. Russell tried to hold back tears, but one tear fell. The crowd cheered.
After they sang, Scola took the microphone and cleared his throat.
“ I just wanna say a few words…..If it wasn’t for all us meeting a special young lady, we wouldn’t have had the honor to sing for this lil’ man….Khori!”
Khori told them no, by the waving of her hand.
“You betta come on, woman!” Sisqo said as he ran toward her and almost dragged her to center stage.
“Do you have something to say?” Jazz asked Khori and handed her a microphone.
“Well, I just wanna say that I thank God that he allowed my baby to come out of his coma!”
The crowd cheered.
“And…I thank Him for allowing me to know these guys and to have them as friends!”
They all gave her hugs as the crowd clapped and cheered again.

Conclusion....
One month later…
Khori had finally finished the article. She was back to her old gig, being editor of the gospel section of the magazine. She really missed it. Despite the fact that she and Scola had good chemistry, they decided to be friends because of their schedules.
The issue was published and she had a fresh copy in her hand. She was walking toward the restaurant where she was gonna meet Dru Hill for lunch. When she entered the restaurant and walked to the huge booth where they were sitting, they all had the magazine up to their faces.
Khori cleared her throat. “Hey ya’ll. I’m here.” She smiled.
Khori’s face almost dropped to the ground when she saw their facial expressions as they, all seemed at one time, lowered the magazines from their faces. They all had frowns.
“How could you?” Nokio said with a scowl on his face.
“What?” Khori said with a surprised look on her face.
“Tell ALL of our business in this piece of crap called an article!” Scola said angrily.
“Huh? I’m confused! Khori said.
“You wrote that I was stalking you!” Sisqo said.
“And you wrote that I was a druggie and needed to go to rehab! You wrote everything that happened!” Nokio said.
“Just like an open book!” Jazz said as he frowned.
Khori was still confused, so she opened up the magazine and turn the pages until she found the article. She started to read it and was astonished.
“This is not the article I wrote!”
“So who’s is it?” Woody asked.
“I don’t know….wait a minute…this is my diary entries. How in the world did----“
Just then Damon West walked up to them in the restaurant.
“That article you wrote was terrible….and I had to take a drastic measure to spice up this story!”
Khori woke up with a start from hearing the radio blaring in her ear.
“It was just a dream!” She thought to herself.
The radio was set so that it turn on at 8:00am, because Dru Hill was scheduled to be on the local station.
She had not seen the article in print yet, so she was hoping the dream wasn’t reality.
Just then, the DJ announced on the radio that Dru Hill was in the building.
The people in the studio clapped.
“Hey everybody!” Sisqo said in a silly voice.
The rest of the group said their hellos.
They proceeded to talk about their music and the tour they had just finished.
“How was it?” The DJ asked.
They all laughed.
“It was utter confusion!” Jazz joked.
“Nah….I guess it was very interesting!” Nokio said.
“Well…what happened? Can ya tell me anything that stood out?” The DJ asked.
“Well….the thing that stood out to me is meeting a special friend.” Scola said.
“Awwwww…..” Jazz and Woody said.
They all laughed.
“Who could this friend be?” Another DJ asked.
They all looked at Scola in the studio, waiting to see what he would reveal. Scola was a private person and didn’t put his business in the street.
“A little boy named Binka!”
Everyone in the studio laughed.
“I thought you were gonna say someone else!” Sisqo said.
“You thought wrong!” Scola laughed.
“Oh yeah! He’s definitely a special little boy!” Nokio said.
“And we gotta thank Khori for that bomb article she wrote on us!” Woody said.
All of Dru Hill clapped their hands and thanked her.
Khori was happy that they liked the article and her dream didn’t come true.
“But we gotta talk about something that was wrote about me!” Nokio said in a serious tone.
“I guess I was wrong.” Khori thought to herself as she suddenly felt nervous.
“Khori, if you hear this, I’m just joking! I loved the article!” Nokio joked.
“I’m gonna get that sucka!” Khori joked to herself.
“Khori is supposed to be up, so she betta be listenin’!” Scola said.
“Well if she’s up, she can call in!” The DJ said.
“In the meantime, let me scan over this article.” Another DJ said.
“Call in, big head!” Jazz joked.
Khori reached for the phone and dialed the number. The line was busy. She tried again, and this time the line was clear. She let it ring about ten times before someone picked it up.
“Hello?” Khori said.
“Hello.” TheDJ responded.
“This is Khori.”
The fellas started saying their hellos to her.
“So how was your experience with the Dru?” The DJ asked.
“Good!”
“That’s all?”
“Yeah, pretty much!”
“Awwww…go on and say some more stuff! You know you wanna tell all our business!” Sisqo joked.
“Sisqo, did you take your medicine this morning?”
Everybody laughed.
“Lemme find out you got jokes this morning!” Sisqo laughed.
“Ummmm hmmmmm…it’s more than enough info and that article! So pick it up!!!!” Khori said.
“I really like this article and the pictures!” The other DJ said.
“Thanks! The fellas helped me to pick out the pictures.” Khori said.
“Yeah….it’s very good and we look very good too!” Jazz joked.
“Hey Scola. Wherever you are!” Khori said.
“Ya know I’m here, baby! What’s crackin’?” Scola replied.
The DJ’s said their “oooooh’s and aaaaah’s” and Scola started laughing.
Scola quickly changed the subject and asked Khori how Binka was doing.
“Very good!”
What the fellas didn’t know was Binka had made a full recovery from the accident. He had no brain damage or any other problems. Khori was also going to tell them that Tamara was pregnant with her and her husband’s second child.
They continued to talk about the article and other things for a few minutes while Khori still stayed on the line.
“Well….It’s almost time for us to sign off and we wanna thank Dru Hill for coming through!” The DJ said and everyone in the studio clapped and cheered.
“Thanks for allowing us to come! And I wanna say one thing before we go!” Nokio said.
Everyone looked at Nokio.
“It’s appropriate that the article is called “No Coincidence That I Met Dru”, because I believe that it was no concidence that I met miss Khori----he paused---she saved my life. I could’ve died. If she wasn’t there to help me, I would probably not be here!” Nokio said.
The whole studio was quiet and Khori spoke from the phone.
“Thank you, Nokio…I believe that too! Because if it wasn’t for ya’ll being in my life, little Binka might not have made it, either.
Sisqo, Jazz, Nokio, Woody and Scola all looked at each other. They were glad that they were all there and it just hit them that Nokio could’ve died.
“Well….that was deep! What a way to end a show!” The dj said.
“I told ya’ll I didn’t believe in concidence!” Woody said.
The End!
