The next day, Nokio and Candy decided that they would finally break the news to everyone about how they really felt for one another.
"So what do you think they got to say?" asked Sisqo as he sat down on Nokios' couch. Nokio was in the kitchen with Candy going over what they had to say.
"I don't know, but I think I have a pretty good idea." said Woody.
"Me too." said Jazz taking his attention away from the tv.
"I see Scola and Peaches aren't here yet." said Nokio walking into his living room.
"I wonder where they could be." said Candy staring out the window.
"I just heard a door shut so that should be one of them now." said Sisqo. Sure enough Scola and Peaches were just coming through the door.
Scola really didn't want to be there but he knew he had to know what went on the day before. If it was what he thought it was, Nokio was definitely going to hear some words.
"What's up man?" said Nokio reaching to give Scola a pound. However, Scola just stared at him and continued to take a seat. Nokio was confused by this but he figured he may be alot angrier after what they had to say.
"Yeah, yeah, what's this all about anyway? I had somewhere I needed to be." said Peaches plopping down on the couch next to Jazz.
"Well, I guess we should just get on with it. We called you all here because we had something we need to share with you." said Candy. She was so nervous that her hands were shaking. When Nokio saw this he reached to hold them.
Scola in turn made a grumbling noise. He couldn't stand to see them touch each other.
"Over the past few months, Nokio and myself have become very close. At first we thought it was wrong but we felt that we could no longer deny how we feel." said Candy as she turned away from her sister.
"What are you getting at Candy?" asked Peaches, she was beginning to become very annoyed by this.
"I'm saying that, Nokio and I are..." started Candy.
"We already know y'all f***ing." said Scola in a cold harsh tone.
"What?" asked Candy.
"Oh don't play dumb with me. I know you done let that n**** run up in you." said Scola.
"Whoa hold up Scola, you got it all wrong." said Nokio stepping in front of Candy.
"Oh really, so I didn't see you two rubbing all over each other in here yesterday."
"You saw that?" asked Candy breathing heavily.
"Yes I saw that!" shouted Scola.
"I'm confused." said Peaches.
"It's so f***ing obvious! I just don't know why I didn't see it from the beginning. But I guess that's why you left me huh, you wanted to f*** my best friend?"
"You know that's not it. I left you because you were cheating on me. And anyway, Nokio and I haven't done anything like that!" shouted Candy.
"Oh please." said Scola.
"It's true. She didn't want to do that yet because I'm still with Peaches. Well was still with Peaches." said Nokio.
"What do you mean was?" asked Peaches standing from her seat.
"I mean that it's over."
"What?"
"Oh don't try to act hurt Peaches, I know you never cared about me. Candy and I had a long talk last night and she told me about the numerous times you've cheated on me."
"Like you haven't. You know that you've f***ed many a female out on the road."
"I quit that after you and I started dating. Although now that I think about it, I wish I would've kept it up."
"Y'all don't think that what y'all are doing is wrong?" asked Jazz.
"No I don't." said Candy shaking her head.
"See they have no remorse for what they doing. Damn Candy, I loved you." said Scola.
"Oh but you slept with any and every female that batted their eyes at you." spat Candy.
"You know they meant nothing to me."
"Oh right."
"Look, Scola man, I didn't do this to hurt you." said Nokio.
"Bulls***." said Scola shaking his head.
"I didn't. But damn, you can't help who you love. Candy needed someone who was gonna be there for her. And I was there. We didn't start out wanting to feel for each other but over time it just happened."
