"I can't believe she actually said all that." said Nokio handing Candy a glass of wine. Sure enough, right after the arguement with Peaches, Candy ran straight to Nokios' open arms.
"Well believe it, you know how big of a b**** she can be." said Candy taking a sip of her wine.
"Yeah I know all too well. And you know what, I'm sick of it. I'm tired of putting up with all the mess she puts me through."
"So why do you stay?"
"I don't know, some part of me feels like she's just putting up this wall and that she's afraid to let it down cause she doesn't want to be hurt. And I just wanted to be the one she takes that wall down for, but doesn't really look like that's gonna happen."
"I don't see how you put up with her for this long. I mean you must have a lot of patience."
"Well, at first I thought it was love, but since I find myself caring for another woman, I know that's not it. Then I thought...."
"Whoa wait, you have feelings for someone? Who?"
"It's not obvious who?"
Candy began to blush. She knew very well he was talking about her, she just needed conformation.
"No it's not obvious." said Candy trying to get him to spill the beans.
"Candy, come on now." said Nokio shaking his head. He just loved how she looked when she tried to be sly.
"What? I wanna know, who is she? Or he?" laughed Candy, she knew that would hit a button.
"Oh hell naw, no you didn't go there. See just for that, I'mma have to do this." said Nokio taking one of the pillows off the couch and hitting her with it.
"Ooh, see now, I'mma kick ya ass!" said Candy grabbing a pillow. But before she could hit him, Nokio accidently hit her in the eye.
"Ow!" shouted Candy.
"Oh s***, I'm sorry. Damn I didn't mean to hit you in the face." said Nokio dropping his pillow, leaving him defenseless. As he got closer, Candy began to pound him with the pillow she had.
"Got ya!" she shouted as she continued to hit him over and over.
"You sneaky little brat" said Nokio as he blocked himself from the blows.
"Oh so now I'm a brat, I got ya for that." said Candy standing over him. As she raised the pillow into the air, Nokio grabbed her by the knees, which caused her to fall on top of him.
He then grabbed the pillow and tossed it away. "Hey what are you doing?" asked Candy.
"This." said Nokio pulling her face to his. Shocked at first, Candys' first thought was to pull away. But the heat and the passion she felt from it kept her there. The two began to kiss wildly. Soon it felt like there was nothing else that mattered, like what they were doing at that moment was the single most important thing in the world.
Standing in the shadows watching, Scola began to become enraged. How could this be happening? His best friend and his favorite girl. It couldn't be.
