In the middle of a kiss that seemed to last forever, Ruby finally pulled away. Without saying a word, she ran into the house, leaving Larry alone and confused.
When Larry walked into the living room, Ruby wasn't there. Instead he only received strange looks from everyone in the room.
"What happened?" asked Whitney.
"Nothing." said Larry.
"Then why did she run into the bathroom like that?" asked Rufus.
"I don't know." said Larry looking towards the bathroom.
Just then Ruby walked out of the bathroom. She couldn't believe what she had done. Larry had been her close friend for years and that was the first time they ever did anything like that. She wasn't expecting that.
"Hey Whitney, you ready to go?" asked Ruby trying not to make eye contact with Larry.
"Yeah, if you're ready we can go." said Whitney grabbing her purse.
"I'm ready." said Ruby.
"Ruby, are you okay?" asked Tamir.
"Yeah, I'm just a little tired that's all."
"Ruby, you sure you don't want to stay a little longer." said Larry.
"Yeah I'm sure." said Ruby still avoiding eye contact.
"Okay, well, we'll see you guys later." said Whitney looking at Ruby. She was wondering why her friend wanted to leave so suddenly.
"Bye you guys." said Ruby as she hurried out of the house.
"Bye." said the guys.
"Yo Larry, what happened?" asked Mark as he followed Larry into the kitchen.
"We kissed." said Larry.
"Oh word." said Rufus as he and the others followed behing Mark.
"Yeah and man, it was incredible."
"So why did she leave like that?" asked James.
"That's just it, I don't know. I mean, she seemed to like as much as I did."
"Maybe it took her by surprise." said Tamir.
"But we kissed for what seemed like an eternity."
"Well maybe she thought it was weird." said James.
"Weird?"
"Yeah, I mean y'all have been friends forever, and she just got out of a seven year relationship."
said Mark.
"Yeah but why would she run away like that?"
"I don't know, I'm sure if you talk to her, she'll explain why she did what she did." said Rufus.
"I'll talk to her tomorrow. But man, I've looked forward to that kiss for a long time."
"We know you have. And from the look on your face, she put it on ya." said Tamir.
"Yeah she did, but hopefully she enjoyed as much as I did."
"You'll see later on, she just needs sometime to think things over." said James.
"Yeah and maybe that means you'll finally get what you want." said Mark.
"I hope so, Lord knows I've been patient."

"Okay girl, you know you gon have to tell me what happened." said Whitney as she drove Ruby home.
"It was nothing." said Ruby as she gazed out of the window.
"If it was nothing, you wouldn't have wanted to leave so fast."
"It was nothing really."
"Justice." said Whitney, she only called Ruby by her real name when she was upset or annoyed with her.
"What?" asked Ruby, she knew Whitney was becoming annoyed.
"What's wrong?"
"We kissed okay."
"Oh my God, it's about time girl."
"I shouldn't have done that."
"Why not? You know he's been wanting you for years."
"I doesn't feel right."
"What doesn't feel right?"
"I mean we've been friends for years."
"And?"
"And I don't want to ruin that."
"Ruby, what did you feel when you were with him?"
"What do you mean?"
"How did he make you feel?"
"I don't know."
"You do know, now how did he make you feel?"
