"Hey Ruby Red!" said Larry as he opened his front door to let her in. Ruby decided to stop by and see how he was doing, well that and to see if Marcus was over there.

"Hey Larry, sorry about dropping by like this." said Ruby walking in as he shut the door behind her.

"Oh I don't care, aint nobody here but me and Tamir anyway. What's up?"

"Oh nothing, just thought I'd come by and see how you were doing. Well, actually I thought Marcus might be over here."

"Why'd you think that?"

"I don't know, I called him at home all day but I got no answer. Same thing with his cell phone."

"Oh, well no he aint here." said Larry a little upset that she only came over to see if Marcus was there.

"Hey Tamir." said Ruby sitting next to him on the sofa.

"Hey Ruby, what you up to?" asked Tamir throwing his arm around her shoulder.

"Oh nothing, just got back from seeing my mom."

"How she doing?"

"Good, she's been asking about y'all."

"Tell her I said hey, I've been meaning to stop by, but you know a n**** been busy lately." said Larry sitting on the couch on the other side of the room.

"Yeah she was wondering why y'all haven't come to see her. But I told her y'all got a busy schedule."

"Yeah, tell her we'll be by as soon as we can." said Tamir.

"Okay, hey Larry, Marcus wanted to know if you still had that game he let you borrow."

"Yeah, it's upstairs I think, let me go look for it real quick." said Larry heading upstairs.

"Hey." said Tamir nudging her arm.

"Hey." said Ruby nudging him back.

"What's up with you and Larry?" asked Tamir.

"What do you mean?" said Ruby with a puzzled look on her face.

"I mean, why don't you hook up with my boy?"

"Mir, you know I'm with Marcus."

"Yeah but he don't care about you like Larry do."

"Oh really, and what makes you think that?"

"For one thing, Larry's been wanting you for a while now, but you never gave him any play."

"I've been with Marcus for the past seven years, I haven't had the time to be giving nobody any play."

"Yeah but..." started Tamir but he stopped just when he heard Larry coming down the stairs.

"What's going on down here?" asked Larry with a hint of jealousy. The two were a tad bit too close for comfort.

"Nothing." said Tamir noticing the look in Larry's eyes.

"So why y'all whispering and s***."

"It aint nothing, he was just telling me how you use to like me." said Ruby wondering why Tamir was skipping around the subject.

"Oh he was huh?" asked Larry his jealousy turning to anger.

"Man, it wasn't nothing. It's like she said how you USE to like her." said Tamir winking at Larry.

"Yeah right, anyway, here Ruby Red." said Larry handing her the game.

"Thanks, hey how about y'all come over for dinner?" asked Ruby, she was kinda excited about the fact that Larry use to have a crush on her. Especially seeing as how she use to have one on him.

"That's sounds good. I didn't feel like cooking anything tonight." said Larry, kinda embarrassed about what Tamir might have said about him.

"Yeah I'm cool with it too." said Tamir rubbing his stomach.

"Okay, well lets go." said Ruby standing to leave.

"Aight then Wheezy." laughed Larry remembering the nickname he gave her.

"I told you not to call me that." said Ruby pinching him on his shoulder.

"Owwwww, I was just playing." laughed Larry.

"You better be." said Ruby slapping him on his back.

"Aww, look at them love taps." said Tamir.

"Whatever, look when we get there I got some boxes in my closet I need taken down to my garage. They're kinda heavy and I need you guys to help me move them." said Ruby getting into the passenger seat of her car. She decided to let Larry drive her car.

"Aight, whatever you say, Wheezy." said Larry.

"Keep playing." said Ruby pointing her finger at him.

"Yeah, keep playing and she's gonna spank you." said Tamir from the back seat.

"You too." snapped Ruby as she turned to look at him.

"Damn papi, I swear you know how to work it." said Alicia breathing heavily.

Either Marcus was stupid or he had some guts, cause he actually had the nerve to bring Alicia to his and Ruby's home.

"You aint so bad yourself. But look, we gotta get you out of here before she gets back." said Marcus also breathing heavily.

"If you don't love her, let her see us. It'll be easier to get rid of her." said Alicia sitting up on one elbow.

"Nah, I at least owe her a civilized break up. We have been together for seven years." said Marcus.

"I understand. I just can't wait for this to be over. I want you all to myself." pouted Alicia.

"I know ma, I'm tired of sneaking around."

"Good, but do you think we got time for one more round?"

"Ding, ding, ding." said Marcus as he brought the sheets over their head.

"Okay, I thought you said he wasn't home." said Tamir as they pulled up along side Marcus' car.

"I thought he wasn't, I mean he wasn't answering his phone." said Ruby climbing out of the car.

"Maybe he's taking a nap or something." said Larry.

"Maybe." said Ruby opening her door, "Hey guys, lets move the boxes first, then I'll cook dinner."

"Okay." said Larry and Tamir in unison.

The three headed upstairs joking and laughing. As they approached the door they could hear a woman moaning.

"No that n**** not in there watching porn." laughed Tamir.

"I know, that's probably why his ass didn't pick up the phone." laughed Larry.

Much to their surprise when they opened the door, they found Marcus and Alicia having sex.

Ruby stood there frozen at first. She couldn't believe the man she loved for seven years was having sex with another woman, in their bed.

Larry and Tamir were trying to pull Ruby out of the room but she wouldn't budge. Then out of no where, Ruby threw he purse at Marcus, hitting him on the head.

"You b****!" she shouted as she ran across the room and jumped on him.

"Ruby quit!" shouted Marcus as she pounded on his bare chest.

"I gave you seven years, seven years you bastard!" shouted Ruby continuing the abuse.

"Ruby come on, lets go." said Larry who was trying his best to pull her off of him. He succeeded, but he tripped over the covers that were thrown to the floor in the heat of the moment.

"I took care of you, I washed your stanking underwear, I cooked you three f***ing meals a day, and this is how you do me!" shouted Ruby standing back up.

"Ruby let me..." started Marcus before she began to hit him again.

"Stop hitting him!" shouted Alicia pulling Ruby off of Marcus.

"b**** how dare you put your nasty ass hands on me!" shouted Ruby as she slapped the taste out of Alicia.

"Get her off of me!" shouted Alicia as Ruby jumped on her and continued to beat her.

Then all of a sudden, Ruby started to breathe heavily. She got up from Alicia and stumbled over to the wall. She continued to breathe heavily.

"Where's her inhaler?" asked Larry searching the room. When Ruby threw her purse the contents fell out.

"She's having an asthma attack." said Marcus still trying to keep himself covered up.

"Thank you for stating the obvious, now help find her inhaler." said Tamir.

Ruby continued with the heavy breathing, for some reason they couldn't find her inhaler. She was just about to tell them were her back up inhalers were, when she began to feel dizzy. A moment later, she passed out.

"Ruby!" shouted Tamir as he caught her.

"She's barely breathing." said Marcus running to her side.

"Get away from her!" shouted Larry pushing him away.

"Go call 911." said Tamir to Alicia.

"If she dies, it's your fault." said Larry as he shot an angry look at Marcus.

Come on Ruby Red, he thought, you're gonna be okay.
