“He’s okay. He has a slight concussion and had to get about 20 stitches.” Khori spoke in her cell phone to Tamara. She had called her after she heard on the news about the accident.
“What did they say on the news about the accident?” Khori asked Tamara.
“I don’t know. All I heard was Dru Hill, bus, accident, Jazz getting hurt and I just had to call to see if the rest of ya’ll were okay.”
“We’re hanging in there! The bus didn’t hit anything! The car that was in the accident was driving too fast and because the car in front of that car suddenly stopped, it crashed into the back of that car! The bus stopped in time enough to come inches from hitting the car!.”
“What? Oh my! See I didn’t hear all of that. I’m so glad ya’ll did not crash! Did the person in the car that crashed survive?”
“Unfortunately not. It was a terrible accident, but the man was driving crazy a couple of minutes before he crashed. The person in the car that was hit lived and he barely got a scratch on him. He had some old classic car!”
“Oh man, he was blessed! It’s sad that the other man died. Dang! These people need to slow down, or leave out on time. Stop all that fast driving!”
“I know, right! It’s a shame. Not to change the subject, but where is my little man? I was thinking about him before the accident.”
“Oh he’s sleep! He’s been mellow all day long. Thank God for that!”
“Umm hmm. Well I have to go now. Jazz just came out of the emergency room and we are about to go to the hotel, which is about ten minutes away. Talk to you later.”
“Yeah, later! You better call me! I wanna hear some juicy stories!”
“You know I’m gonna hook you up!” Khori laughed.

They all made their way to the hotel rooms. They were all kinda tired waiting for Jazz in the emergency room for over an hour, so they decided to take naps.
Khori was laying across her bed, when she heard a knock on her door. It was Kenneth.
“Hey now!” he said.
“What’s happening?”Khori said sleepily as she opened her door.
“The fellas just got an invite to a local radio’s evening show.”
“When is it?”
“They are supposed to be on around ten o’clock.”
“Okay. Is Jazz coming?”
“I talked to him and he said he’s up to it.”
“Well alright. I’ll be ready.”
“Okay, I knock on the door when we are ready to leave.” Kenneth said.
Khori was excited, because she had never been to a radio station before.

The fellas were on the “slow jams”show on the local radio station. The dj played Dru Hill’s favorite songs and their own hits.
As the fellas sat around the microphones in the studio, they answered listener’s questions and commented on their propositions. Khori was surprised how many “I’ll be your baby’s mama’s, Come over to my place’s, and What hotel your staying in’s,” she heard from the callers. She shook her head and sighed.
The radio announcer heard her when she sighed. The show went to some commercials.
“What are you over there exhaling for?” He joked.
“Just hearing them call is pathetic. Now some of them were okay, but I would not put myself out there on the airwaves, sounding silly!”
The commericials went off and the producer signaled the dj to talk.
“We’re in the studio with the fellas of Dru Hill and they have a special young lady in here with them.”
“The only lady in here!” Jazz commented.
“Yeaaaaaaah!” Sisqo cooed. Everybody laughed.
“What’s your name?”
“Khori.”
“Oh that’s a beautiful name for a beautiful lady.” The DJ said.
“Thanks.”Khori replied. Scola cleared his throat, and the fellas laughed.
“Don’t get too fresh.” Scola joked, but he was really serious.
“My bad, man!” The dj said in defense.
“But anyway, we talked off the air about how you felt about some of the calls for the fellas. You felt that they shouldn’t be putting themselves out there like that. Care to comment?”
The dj moved her to the microphone and she commented.
“Well, all I gotta say is some of these ladies, or so called ladies, need to chill out a bit. You’re making yourselves sound silly, not to mention the faces these fellas have made up in here! It’s hilarious.”
“So are you saying that the women shouldn’t proposition a man?”
“Women can do whatever they want. I’ve never said anything like they said to a man. It’s sad.”
“Aww girl whatcha talking about over there?” Sisqo said. “Scola said that you were all over him when ya’ll met a long time ago.”
Khori looked at Scola and he laughed.
“He’s lying.”
“What did they say on the news about the accident?” Khori asked Tamara.
