"Yo Ti, I saw yo n**** yesterday." said Tiandrea's best friend, Aisha.

"He's fine aint he." said Tiandrea smiling just thinking about Nokio.

"Yeah but girl you need to watch yo n**** closer cause uh, me and Tay so him out with some b****." said Aisha.

"Yeah girl, he was hugged up with some ho." said Tay.

"Hell naw, y'all aint seen my baby out with nobody." said Tiandrea.

"I'm telling you , you need to check him. I mean you're my girl and all but if it wasn't for that, I'd be trying to get yo man too." said Aisha.

"Whatever b****, I know him. He wouldn't do that s***."

"Well you obviously don't know him like you think you do." said Tay.

"Lool, I'mma set y'all b****es straight. Tomorrow, we're goin over there and I'mma prove y'all asses wrong." said Tiandrea hanging up her phone.

Last night was the first real passionate night of Toya and Nokios' relationship. She had him come over for a romantic candlelight dinner. After dinner the two slow danced to couple of their favorite songs. Then the passion became too much, so they went upstairs to make love. When they were done they went and took a bubble bath.

"Did you have a good time tonight?" asked Toya.

"Yeah but then again I always do when I'm with you." said Nokio kissing her shoulder.

"Let me ask you something. Do you think it's possible to love someone after say, a month?"

"Yeah I think so, why?"

"No reason."

"Yes there is, why did you ask?"

"No reason."

"If you don't tell me, I'mma put some soap in ya mouth, now tell me."

"You aint gonna do s***."

"Oh really," said Nokio picking up some soap, "Open wide."

"Move." laughed Toya.

"Tell me."

"Okay, I asked because, I think I am."

"You are what?"

"I think I am in love with you."

"You think?"

"I know."

"Really well, I knew from the first moment I met you. Even though you did ignore me."

"I didn't mean to, I was trying to get rid of some unwanted fat."

"Yeah right."

"Okay but if it wasn't for that, we probably wouldn't be together now."

"Yeah I guess."

"So, you love me?"

"Yeah I love you."

"I love you too."

After they finished their bath, they went and made love again. The next morning, Toya got up and made him a big breakfast. She was pouring him some orange juice when he came down stairs.

"Look at you looking all good in my shirt." said Nokio putting his arms around her waist.

"Okay, you need to sit down and eat instead of kissing all over my neck." said Toya giggling.

"I'm hungry, but not for food."

"Uh we already did that once this morning now sit down," said Toya as the door bell rang, "Move so I can get the door."

"You're lucky I need to answer my phone." said Nokio as he let her go.

When she walked out of the kitchen, Nokio answered his phone. It was someone he really didn't want to hear from.

"Where are you?" asked Tiandrea.

"Why?" said Nokio angrily.

"Cause I wanna know, where are you?"

"That aint none of your business."

"The hell it aint, you my mothaf***ing man, and if I wanna know where the f*** you are, you better tell me."

"Look b****, you aint my f***ing mama so I aint got to tell you s***. Secondly, that I'm yo man s***, squash it, cause guess what b****, I don't want ya." said Nokio hangin up his phone.

"Kathan, what the f*** are you doing here?" asked Toya angrily pushing Kathan out of the house.

"Baby I've been a mess since you left me, I need you." begged Kathan.

"Oh please, you don't miss me. The only reason why you're here is cause you probably found out I gotta new man."

"Toya baby, come on, we got history. You can't just throw that away."

"If you haven't noticed, I threw yo ass out a long time ago."

"You need me Toya, you know you do."

"Whatever! I got somebody I love, and who loves me back. As for you..." she said as she slammed the door in his face.

"Who is she?" shouted Chimere. She just knew he was seeing someone else, she just needed him to admit it.

"I don't know what you're talking about." said Scola getting ready to meet Lauren again.

"Don't lie to me! We have been together for too long for you to lie to me!"

"Look 'Mere, there is no one else. I love you and only you. You're the only thing I want in this world. Don't even think I could ever do something to hurt you."

"If you love me, stay home tonight."

"I can't."

"Why not?!"

"I've had these plans all week long. I can't just up and cancel like that."

"You don't love me then."

"I do love you, but I've got to have time away from you. I've been spending all my time with you."

"Not lately."

"Cause I got friends too 'Mere."

"You see those friends everyday. Why do you have to hang with them tonight?"

"I already told you."

"Scola please."

"Baby I'm sorry," he said as he kissed her on her forehead, "I gotta go, I'mma be late. I love you."

"I love you too." she said to herself as he walked out.

"Come on Shay baby, we got time." said Sisqo pulling Shayla up the stairs.

"No we don't, see someone's here now." said Shayla as the doorbell rang.

"If we're real quiet, we can get upstairs without them knowing we're down here." he whispered.

"No. I'm coming." said Shayla walking to the door.

"What took you so long?" asked Lauren.

"His horny ass was trying to pull me upstairs." said Shayla pointing at Sisqo.

"Hey, it would've worked if you didn't ring that damn doorbell." said Sisqo pretending to be upset.

"Whatever, I take it Scola's not here yet." said Lauren walking into the living room.

"Nope, you're the first one here." said Shayla.

Tonight was just a little get together among friends. Shayla and Sisqo had began dating ever since that night a month ago. Things were getting pretty heavy between them.

"Lauren look, I'mma be honest with you." said Sisqo sitting next to Lauren.

"Okay." said Lauren with a puzzled look on her face.

"Scola is my boy. Chimere is my girl. I've seen those two happy for some years now. I don't know what y'all got going on, but make sure it doesn't go over just friends." said Sisqo looking her dead into her eyes.

"I respect their relationship, him and I are just friends. Nothing more." said Lauren.

"Good, now don't get me wrong, I love you too. But I know their history. I don't want to see it go down the drain. And I don't want to see you hurt." said Sisqo hugging her.

"Thanks for caring, but like I said it's nothing." said Lauren hugging him.

As they let go, everyone else walked in. Scola immediately went to Lauren, which in turn bothered everyone else.

"Hey Shay, how ya been ma?" said Jazz hugging her.

"Pretty good." said Shayla.

They all began to hug, laugh, and talk with each other. But Lauren and Scola were pretty much in their own world.

"You look good tonight." said Scola.

"You don't look so bad yourself." said Lauren blushing.

"So Lauren, what you been up to lately." said Woody, cutting into their conversation.

The guys had a plan. They weren't gonna let Scola and Lauren get too close tonight. They all knew they were attached to each other and didn't want Scola to mess things up with Chimere.

"Nothing really, I havrn't been too busy." said Lauren turning back to Scola, but before she could say anything to him, Nokio cut on the radio.

"Aww, hell yeah this is my jam." said Toya. They were playing Chingy's Right Thurr.

"Get ya ass up and dance with me then." said Nokio pulling her to her feet.

"Yeah Shay, get over here and shake ya ass. And don't say you can't cause you dropped it for me yesterday." laughed Sisqo.

"Shut-up!" laughed Shayla, "You just betta hope you can keep up."

"You already know." said Sisqo.

"Wood you my boy, but we aint EVEN bout to dance with each otha." joked Jazz. Scola had asked them leave their girls at home. He wanted to spend time with Lauren and didn't want Nakisha and Simone to see him with her.

"Believe me, I wouldn't dance with you if you paid me." laughed Woody.

"Well maybe Lauren will. Lauren? Where's Scole and Lauren?" asked Jazz.

"They were sitting right there a minute ago." said Toya looking around.

"Damn, we gotta find them." said Sisqo.

"I know, them two don't need to be alone." said Nokio.

When everybody started dancing, Scola and Lauren had snuck outside to talk.

"Sorry about all that. They're just looking out for us." said Scola leaning on the back of his car.

"I know, I tried to tell them we're just friends." said Lauren standing next to him.

"Yeah I know, you getting lectures too."

"Yeah, but I understand what they're saying."

"Me too. You cold?" said Scola, he noticed she was shivering a little.

"Yeah there's a little breeze out." said Lauren.

"I'm sorry , I don't have a jacket to give you. I left it in the house."

"It's okay, I'm cool."

"Here maybe this will keep you warm." said Scola wrapping his arms around her.

"Yeah it does." said Lauren feeling so comfortable in his arms. There wass silence for a moment. What was happening to them? Neither had a clue of what was gonna happen or how they were gonna fight it.

"Scola?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm scared."

"Me too."
