For the last few days I have been experimenting with the forum, trying to find a setup that works for us. Well, I finally think I've got it. My main goal is to prevent the board from turning into garbage.

Generally, forums that everyone get along and agree on everything become extremely boring. Thus, I am encouraging everyone to 'unleash the dragon' and express yourself. Fell free to speak your mind about any topic here. How you express yourself, though, is your own judgment call. Just try not to go around shoving opinions down people's throats.

With that in mind, I encourage everyone to engage in discussions. I saw the news articles overpowering discussions that were taking places and have now seperated the two to enable more interactivity to take place. Some, namely CC, have brought the forum a great deal of activity, but that can only go so far. You can't blame a forum for being boring if you don't do your part. So, let us turn that around before it gets to that point.

The website is really going into full effect soon and I'd like the forum to look appealing for new users considering registration. So, let's make this place look lively! ;D

I'm just testing this out to see how it feels after using it for a while. I'll probably fix up a few more things tomorrow. Ultimately I'm going to try to eliminate the complete welcome banner at the top, and put all the navigation links where the blank strip is above between the body and header. I'll leave that for another day, though.

No, I haven't finished the flash intro yet, I don't think I will. Generally, I jump from project to project and I don't complete anything. It started to look crappy anyways.
