I was fortunate enough (with help from a friend) to take a trip to see Dru in Philly yesterday.
They were good, as always, but here are some things I can remember.
Unfortunately, I wasn't down by the stage like my last concert, but we had a decent view from the side.
They sang the songs that were reported already, nothing new about the song format. Except after Sisqo did his solo thing, These two rappers came out and
Jazz and Sisqo was singing , I guess it was their song because I couldn't make out what was said.
Sisqo got dragged off the stage.
(The stage had a catwalk , because they had a fashion show.) The security was not by the stage like it is usually at shows. They had to come from behind the stage and literally grab him from the little girls (I mean there were mostly teenagers there!)
Anyway he was set on his feet by security and went back to doing his thang!!! It was funny.
Jazz was good, he was on point. He had a lot of energy when he and Sisqo ran out with those two rappers! I was surprised! When Sisqo did his part of the Thong Song and the girlies came out on the stage and Jazz grabbed one of them and started dancing and another girl came behind Jazz. I was like is this a concert or a club? Jazz grabbed another chick out of the audience when he was on the catwalk part of the stage! He was getting freaky and they was bumping each other like they was doin it (ugh!
) and then he stopped and was like "Let me stop, this is a family show!" Jazz was getttin a lil frisky! lol
Scola was Scola! He ripped his shirt off and I was going bananas! It didn't take him long before that shirt was gone. About 15 mins into the show and it was off!
They was showing him much luv and I was yelling my head off, I thought I was gonna be hoarse for real!
He did look our way and blew us some kisses!
Woody was Woody, He did good. But after Sisqo did his thang it took him a minute to come back to the stage.
Nokio was at the show. Nokio...Nokio...Nokio!!!!!
Well, he was hyper, and acting a lil bit off the chains!!!
His son, Jordan, cutie pie, was there and from the view of the stage we saw him hugging him and just lovin' on him!! Gotta luv the daddies!
But anyway. He got dragged down a couple of times (on the catwalk part of the stage) and he was laying there it seemed like for eternity. My sister(who went with me and another friend)was like."Where did Nokio go?" and I was like. "He's still laying there!"
When Jazz was dancing with the "Thong Song" girlies Nokio started dancing with them! It was so funny, he was just going up to them and dancing and then leave one and go up to another and dance! I think he was putting on a comedy act.....he was off the chains.......
He was jumping around, he did this little move when he was running and then he stopped and grabbed his leg! lol he was hilarious yesterday!!!!
After Sisqo did his thang they sang I Love You and I Should Be, but they were basically just doing their own thing and Woody was standing in his space on the stage. lol
Just to add....from the side I was sitting on, you could see backstage and when Sisqo started singing Thong Song, the girlies came from behind the stage. There was a little girl(looked to be about 7 or 8) about to go on stage. I saw Scola talking to her ( I don't know what he said, but I figured he told her not to go out there)and she didn't! I' m glad she didn't go out there and that he stopped her!Go Scola!!!! ;D
Overall the show was decent. We could've been down closer, but it just didn't work out that way. All I gotta say is "Dang, security!"
