Dru Net Message Board Rules
By joining and participating the Dru Net Message Board, you agree to comply with the following rules. Failure to do so will result in a single warning. Continued offense will result in a temporary or permanent banning. We reserve the right to modify or delete any member's posts for any reason at any time. Any individual's posts on this message board do not necessarily represent the opinions of Dru Net or its staff as a whole. If you feel you are incapable of adhering to the rules, we request you relocate yourself here or here.
Double Posts
The message board does have an edit function (the 'modify' button on each post) contrary to popular belief. You do not need to post twice in a row if you are talking about two different subjects (or the same subject for that matter). If you happen to post twice in a row by accident. You can simply click the 'delete' button in the post and it will vanish. Of course, though, you can only delete your own posts. Moderators can delete anyone and everyone's posts. They will do so if deemed appropriate.
Spamming
Replying to a post with one or two words, a smiley, or complete nonsense is considered Spam. I don't like it, and many others feel the same. So, don't do it. Simple as that. There is no need to just write one or two words. If you would like to post, make it meaningful and positive. Do not just write 'LmAoao!!' and then submit it. In the future, such posts will be deleted. Spamming also includes writing things such as |_|R \/\/31R|} or HeLlO!!!!!111
Sources
Please make sure you link any and all sources you withdraw information from. Whether it may be a small sentence, something you paraphrased, a photograph, or an entire news article, you must identify the place you derived the content from unless specific permission was granted from the owner. Violation of this rule in the future will result in immediate banning without warning.
Hosted Images
Images in your signature, avatar, and posts must be hosted on your own server. It is wrong to link to them from one's own server and waste bandwidth. If we receive a complaint, you will be warned, and the images will be removed. Do not contact us requesting we host images. This is a privilege we extend to staff members and respected members. If you are unable to have your images hosted online on a personal server, you can set up a free account at HostMySig.com.
Signature and Avatar
You may not use someone else's personal artwork (whether it be hand drawn or computer generated) and claim it to be your own. If permission is granted to use such artwork, you may. In your signature, you may have no more than two images. They may only go side by side, not one on top of another. Text is permitted in signatures. The content within the signature must comply with both ProBoards’ and Dru Net's rules.
