Dru Who?I can only say I've lost a considerable ammount of respect for them... However, I wouldn't be surprised if this was just something to pull them down. There are so many errors in her information it is just astounding. How the F*CK do you confuse Unleash the Dragon, the hottest album of 2000, with some made up Enter the Dragon and still be able to consider yourself a journalist for a Hip-Hop associated website?

Here we go. I was supposed to meet Sisqo in Toronto about 2 years ago and he was a no show. I didn't hate him and turn my back on him. Who gives a f*** if they don't show up? If she hates them, so be it. They can't be on time or even show up to a bunch of places. They could be tired, a member could have a cold or something, they could be all high or drunk. They are not Gods. Just like humans they get tired, get sick and could get high or drunk. So people are gonna read her article and think that they're higher and better than everyone so that's why they didn't show up. If they believe this, then they're no smarter or better than this reporter. If no one likes what I said, I don't give a crap either!

I don't care, personally, but this is rediculous. They have an extremely minute fanbase within Europe, and they are f*cking them over like whoa... They seriously have no chance of regaining any large portion of these fans if they don't fix their act now. Not that you said anything towards me, Xaimara, (just making a statement) but even after the incident in Germany, they have not changed at all. It shows lack of respect towards their fans, unreliability, and only proves to me that they really don't give a d*** about Dru Hill anymore.

It may not be their fault. People should point fingers at the management too. Its the management who decides when they go on tour and which clubs to go to. Plus, I find that after I Love you, def soul stopped promoting them and is focusing on 112. So once again, send your hate mail and point fingers at the management of Dru and not Dru themselves!

You have no idea who is to blame. So, don't point fingers. If, however, you "know" who is responsible, please present the facts here, I'm really interested in what proof you've got to show for.

I read thearticle two days ago and I wasn't too happy about it. From what I've found out in the past, the record company sets artists up for other promotional crap and they group is totally unaware. Example: Dru Hill was here in '98 for a radio promotion and autograph signing. I went to the signing and brought them all a gift (lollipops) and when I said I tried to win tickets to the "secret party" the radio station was giving, Sisqo and Woody who were both half asleep say to me "we didn't know about it until we got here." I heard from a girl who won tickets and went that they were doing their best to be nice to their fans but they were tired, Jazz was non-social, Nokio was cranky and Woody looked like he was in a daze. She said that Sisqo told her they had stuff to do that they didn't know about and they were being worked like dogs.
As far as what happened in the UK and Germany, I brush it off.
Don't feel bad, Sisqo was a no-show for me here once too about 3 years ago...I don't like them any less.
Oh yeah and BTW I hate Def Soul...they kiss ass with an artist for so long and push them to the side. Dru Hill needs to give J Records a call.

The majority of the time its the management. There they ones who ruin a lot of "Creditability" for different artists. I don't have to show proof, I just know.

Well...It's a shame. There are two sides to every story and we don't really know what happened on their part. I think a lot of those events were "overly hyped up." Over promoted. But if it was true and they didn't show up because of those reasons, it's there own fault. It's sad to say, but maybe if they are not makin an effort, then they don't care. Maybe they are burnt out or hit a wall or something? They need to put themselves out there and speak on it. But then, maybe they don't care that a lot of negative stuff is being written about them!

I'm just gonna bite my tonuge on this one, and not say what i really want to. But I do agree with some of what Xaimara is saying. People do write these articles, and turn them into something bigger than what it really was, however we really don't know the truth because we weren't there to know what happen. You can't believe everything you read or see. However, "IF" it did happen, and say i was there, and Dru didn't show up, yeah I'd be disappointed, but it's not gonna make me loose respect for them. I'd be upset, but i'd get over it eventually. Besides, maybe they had good reasons for not showing up, just maybe it wasn't their fault...who knows?? You can't always blame Dru for when things don't go as planned. There are people who work behind the scenes too, and I'm not gonna go jumping down Dru's throat and blaming everything on them everytime I hear something negative thrown their way. Truedat to what you said sexysmile, 'I've wanted Dru to leave Def Soul, and consider J Records since before this latest album dropped. Def Soul has losted their touch, I want Dru to move on.

Me too. They can go to another record label now. Their contract was for 3 albums and that's what they did. But Kevin Liles may get them to sign another contract to stay with Def ( Since-we-have-112-now,-that's-all-we care-about-&-Christina-Milian's-album-is-still-coming soon-while-it-was-realeased-in-Japan) Soul.

All I'ma say on the matter is that I agree that Dru needs to sign with another label to get the proper promotion and recognition that they deserve. When I watched Keith Murray's "Turnstyle" last night, he explained how he went through a similar situation when his first two albums weren't properly promoted and how it was a battle getting out of his contract even though he eventually did it. It's a shame that those with the most talent are ALWAYS the ones that are overlooked in the business 99.9% of the time.

Sometimes that's the way the cookie crumbles!!!!!!!!!!!
But I agrre with what most of y'all are saying!!! Iono why some dumb people think that be casue you are a celebrity that you are superperson! I mean get serious these people have lives that they have to live and it might be idealto remember that: They chiose to share this talent with us, its not soemthing that they have to do. They do it becasue they love it and that's what they wanna do.
So respect them enuff to understand that they get tired and they are overworked and they need to relax and umwine like we do. I'm sure everyone has made a promise that they didn't keep once or twice.
Some peopl earejust selfish and think that ht ye should have everything their way, these are peole who have no grasp of reality!!!!!!
They need to take a reality pill and wake da F*&k UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DRU HILL 4 LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
