Here are the finalists for the 2003 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Awards, to be handed out Aug. 8 at Miami's Jackie Gleason Theatre.

TOP R&B/HIP-HOP ARTISTS - DUO OR GROUP

Dru Hill

They seriously can win this one. B2K got them a few months ago at the BET awards, but that was then and this is now. Err... later. If they want to win this, they better have some amazing performances on LL's tour and an equally great single *cough* On Me *cough* That is more than enough to compete with B2K.

If those lil kids called b2k is up there, Dru doesn't have much of a chance. BUT... this isn't BET. So Dru has a fighting chance to win!

BTW my birthday's coming up (turning 18 in five days)...and my dad was asking me what I want for my birthday...and I'll ask him if I cna go to the concert at Beacon Theater! I think they have a fighting chance to win! But does anyone know how they determine the winner? Do they do it by how many weeks they were on the charts?

That is so true! Go Dru Hill...it's your birthday! LOl anyway...I don't know how long this was out but I'm guessing this is very recent. Thank you so much about the new siggy and avatar...and ti'a all thanks to Chris! ;D

Dru Hill isn't going to win because this is the BillBoard Awards and everything is based on factual sales information. That's why SisQo won like everything in 2000 because he reined the charts that year. So unless I'm wrong, I think that B2k has had more sales than Dru Hill in the past year. They both came out with a new album at relatively the same time...and B2k was always above DWO from what I remember. I'm not sure...correct me if I'm wrong though.

I don't think you can vote for that category. For the billboard awards, its all on album/single sales from Soundscan and unfortunately, bebe's kids2k sold more albums & singles than Dru.

B2K can't sing!!! They are lame!! Hope my Dru babies win!!!! They need some more reocgnition!! Their tour was barely advertised here in England, just a couple of weeks before hand on local radio!!!!
