It's been three months since the break up. They dropped all contact with each other, it would be too painful for either to see the other. And it really didn't help that their best friends were dating. Whenever one would have a get together, they had to worry about seeing each others friends.
Within this time Dru Hill had many appearances, radio shows to do, did a video, and did some interviews. Sisqo kept himself busy. He knew if he wasn't busy, she'd be on his mind.
He didn't really talk about or deal with his emotions for Temple. He figured if he didn't think about it, it wouldn't hurt so bad. Jazz, Woody, Nokio, and Scola became worried about Sisqo. They felt like because he wasn't dealing with his feelings, he was overloading on work, going to clubs, and women.
That was the first two months. The third month Sisqo began to slow down. He had found himself a girlfriend. But what worried the guys was that she had almost the same traits as Temple.
"Okay, anybody notice how much Micaela acts and looks like Temple." said Nokio.
"Yeah, I thought it was just me." said Jazz.
"Man, she act just like Temple." said Scola.
"That's kinda freaky." said Woody.
"I think it's cause he misses her but he's too proud or whatever to go back to her." said Jazz.
"They need to, I'm getting tired of them awkward moments we have when we hang out with our girls and one of them." said Nokio.
"I know, I can't hang out with Maya and them because they want to be with Temple. And if I slip up and say something about Sisqo, Temple gets uncomfortable." said Scola.
"Yeah, same thing for if we were to hang with Sisqo." said Woody.
Just then Sisqo walks in the room. They were at Jazz's house for a while just sitting around hanging out. But Sisqo got a phone call from Mica and walked out the room.
"Sorry bout that, it was Mica." said Sisqo.
"Yeah we know." said Scola.
"What?" said Sisqo.
"Nothing, we were just talking about Lani and her twin brothers birthday party tomorrow." said Woody.
"Oh."
"You going?" asked Nokio.
"I don't know."
"Come on man, you aint got nothing else to do." said Scola.
"I know, and don't say you're gonna be hanging out with Mica, cause Lani already said you could bring her." said Woody.
Sisqo really didn't like the idea of going. He knew Temple would be there, and wasn't ready to see her yet. He especially didn't want her to see Mica.
"Nah, I think I better sit this one out." said Sisqo.
"Naw n****, you going," said Nokio, "I'm tired of you acting like you can't hang with us and our girls because of Temple. It's been three months, you've moved on. Why is it so bad to see her?"
Because I still love her thought Sisqo. He knew that was why, but he didn't want to admit it.
"You don't even have to talk to her." said Jazz, "Just come to hang out."
"Y'all not gonna stop bugging me till I say yeah, huh? said Sisqo.
"Yeah, pretty much." said Scola.
"Aight, I'll go."
"Good and don't forget Lani's gift please. That's all she's been bugging me about." said Woody.
