P. Diddy Wants A Piece Of The New York Knicks
Few can challenge Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' business acumen as the successful entrepreneur has built an empire which includes a record label, a clothing line, a marketing company, several restaurants, and his own line of custom Lincoln Navigators. However, Combs may be in need of new challenge. According to Billboard.com, he'd like to purchase an interest in the New York Knicks.
As he recently said on The Howard Stern Show, "I think I could do a good job. I'm publicly puttin' it out there, because they're not taking my calls. I think they need some new blood up there... I'm not saying get rid of the owners, I'm saying put me down. Put me in the game... Because it's not going down right now."
After making the play-offs for 14 consecutive years, the Knicks have failed to make the play-offs for the past two seasons. Combs attributed the lack of success to hasty decisions, "We're making rush decisions. I think we need a team that also reflects the spirit of the city. We need an aggressive, fast team that knows how to run."
In related news, Combs' Bad Boy Records released the Bad Boys II soundtrack last week. The set is expected to debut at Number One this week on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Hmmmmm...I gotta hand it to Diddy; he's a successful businessman, but I'm wonderin' why the Knicks won't return any of his calls? Maybe they've heard about his arrogant work ethics and attitude and they don't want this type of attitude brought to the team. Not sayin' that Diddy's approach doesn't work, but sometimes his anger takes over and he kinda gets crazy wit' it. But that's juss my own opinion.
