LOVE IS A BERRY BEAUTIFUL THING: Fred Berry is looking for a mate for a 'Star Date.'
*Say ladies, wouldn't you just love a date with that hunk of burnin' love, the dreamboat himself, Fred 'Rerun' Berry? Well, maybe YOU can't have the rotund 1970s star of "What's Happening" all to yourself, but you can watch someone else have the pleasure.
Here's the deal. Rerun will go on two blind dates when the second season of E!'s "Star Dates" reality series begins on June 17 at 9 PM Eastern. (Imagine the thrill those two lucky ladies will have.)
Anyway, if you haven't seen it, the series follows stars and singles as they mingle with mixed results. The first batch of episodes, which debuted in December, featured dates with former child actors including Gary Coleman ("Diff'rent Strokes"), Jill Whelan ("The Love Boat") and Butch Patrick ("The Munsters").
Also lined up for this season are former pop stars Leif Garrett and Tiffany and from "Good Times," Jimmie "JJ' Walker. Yes, we know, it should be a Dy-no-mite(!) date.
I pity the poor, desperate souls that actually go on this show!
But anyway, why do I know in my heart that Rerun is gonna bust out with his infamous but very tired dance moves?!
