Halle Berry Breaks Arm During Filming
An injury during the filming of her latest movie has sidelined actress Halle Berry.
According to a publicist from Warner Bros. studios, Berry broke her arm while filming a "physically demanding" scene for the horror movie "Gothika" in Montreal.
There was no word as to how Berry suffered the injury.
The publicist said the actress broke her ulna -- a long bone in the forearm. She was treated at a Montreal hospital and released.
The film is about halfway through a nine-week shoot. It's unclear when Berry will be able to return to work.
"Gothika" stars Berry as a criminal psychologist who awakens to find herself a patient in her own institution with no memory of the murder she's apparently committed.
The film co-stars Penelope Cruz, Robert Downey Jr. and Charles S. Dutton.
Berry, 34, is currently starring in the hit sci-fi film "X2: X-Men United." She also starred in the James Bond film "Die Another Day" in 2002 and won an Oscar for Best Actress for the 2001 drama "Monster's Ball."
