Here we go again!

I heard on the radio earlier this morning that Snoop Dogg was involved in a shootout last night! The news reported that some guys rolled up on him and some of his associates and wanted to talk with him. As usual, words were exchanged and the suspects opened fire on Snoop and his crew. However, only Snoop's bodyguard, an off-duty officer, was wounded; but thank goodness he's alive!

It's sad that when Jam Master Jay passed my 12-year-old brother made the comment that the only thing rappers do are kill each other. I can't say that I wasn't a lil' angry when he said it being that it was Jam Master Jay and out of all of the years that I've listened to (and still do) Run DMC, not once did they come across as having trouble with anyone. But what can you say when someone his age notices this, though? Like so many others have said, rap/hip hop is slowly dying due to ignorance and violence. When will this BS cease (even though I know this is a very foolish question)?!!!

Yeah I heard about it on the news this morning. I was like "Not again!" But do you see the kind of image this is setting for little kids? It's exactly what your little brother said....now little kids think hip-hop is all about rappers killing each other. Why can't this shyt be put aside man...people just won't get it...

This is really sad. Everytime you turn around somebody beefing with somebody and it ends in tragedy either somebody getting hurt, or losing their life. I find myself asking the same question too often, and it's sad to say that no one has an answer to it, and even worse to know that something as serious as this is being taken as a joke now to some people. I don't know what it is that people find in guns or any other weapons thinking that it will solve their problems, it just makes things worst. smh

That is true. For some strange reason these famous people ending up getting hurt, or killed. But most likely they are killed at any time and any place. I felt bad that Aaliyah died in that plane crash, and Left Eye, then Jam Master Jay...all these people either died in vacations, or for another purpose. I don't understand why people kill their own kind as if they were nothing of their own blood and flesh.
