Yeah, Mary J. remade it also! There's a link for it over at her board which I haven't even bothered to listen to even though I lovessssssss Mary to death. But thank goodness it won't be on her upcoming release (waiting in anticipation for this one!). Oh yeah! It was also posted at Mary's board that Dr. Dre has stopped the radio stations from playing Beyonce's version (ha ha) because she didn't get permission from him like Mary did. Poor Beyonce'.    |

Oh no! I read somewhere that because Beyonce was dating Jay-Z, she thought she could get some 'street credibility' with remaking the song. She just got blasted! LOL

"Hooked" (MJB" remix) is HOOOOTTT!!! It's takes me back to the Real Love days man! Believe me I was really sceptical about this one, but Mary sounds AMAZING, the only downside is Puffy's over-hyping intro/outro.

Maybe I need to check Mary's version out then. I'll download it sometime tomorrow night after I get home since I'm getting ready to turn in. I guess I'm just tired of "In Da Club" as well as that daggone Puffy, P-Diddy, or whateva he is--lol.

I just listened to Mary's version. It's aight. But I agree that it definitely would've been better without Puffy shoutin' over it! It's growing on me though. |
